so i jsut picked up Snake eater.. pretty cool, but way harder than MGS2

who else has played?

It\'s in French though. There are alot of ingame pics of each
segment of the game so you could regard those as minor
spoilers.  

Take my word on it ; this game looks to be very very good !

Yea, played some of the start. Got up to the first run down building area, haven\'t bothed to go passed there yet.  I just have to many games to play atm, so i\'m trying to get them out of the way first.

im at the same spot right now.  I keep getting caught.  sons of bithces.  Im glad the life meter can raise like it does.

haha, yea yeah, I found it after the fact... I was blind while looking I think.  I cant believe you beat it already.  Im still at the beginning... by the sounds of things, It looks like its a pretty short game

Going by reviews, MGS3 should have significantly more gameplay hours than MGS2....

well than how the hell are people finishing it in like 20 hours? I cant remember how long it took me to finish MGS3

ow... I \'know\' MGS2 as an 8 hour game. So, if MGS3 is 20 hours, that\'s more than 2 times as long.

hmm.. i guess I was just slow with MGS2.  I was too busy figuring out what I could shoot.  I think I took more like 20 hours

Until MGS3 PAL release I\'m playing MGS2 Substance alot again.

Have you already completed the Snake Tales ? I\'m busy at them now and Imo they\'re the way MGS2 is meant to be played :

* NO radar
* NO saving when you want to
* limited weapons & supplies

Except for External Gazer, all Snake Tales > MGS2 main game with radar. From what ppl are telling MGS3 HARD mode should be on par with the Snake Tales :thepimp:

When I got the game, I had no life for a week until I beat it. Now I\'m getting all these awesome games supposedly for Christmas that I won\'t have time for a long time to start up a new game.
