On a related note, about the Varitek signing ($40/M for 4 years, now team captain ala Jeter) ... great move Theo.

I was very disappointed that the Sox didn\'t offer Pedro their best contract off the bat instead of at the last second.. but they pulled the trigger this time and got their man.
