Everyone was getting ne cpu\'s around here and since i have no budget for one I got one for work only drawback is it has to be a laptop so this is the one I got.....
Wanted to make sure it was versitile (good for home computing Ie: games) wink wink

I think the first thing I\'d do is get out a can of spray paint.
-
and ritually burn the voodoopc t-shirt...
-
so I can see you two are not voodoo fans? I liked the red btw..

Ironically, 3Dfx\'s 1st 3Dcard was named "Voodoo" (4mb vram without T & L). Now I see this notebook with a Nvidia card in it. :D
Anyway...I\'m not buying a notebook until they enable you to videocard upgrade ; Nvidia\'s MXM tech or something similair by Ati.

so what brand would you all have gotten for a laptop. I realize a pc would be better but it has to be a laptop
-
Looks cool, bet that thing cost some pennies. Work is buying it for you? Congrats
-
nice numbers on that little beast.

A red laptop, how gay can you get? Why didn\'t you just get flaming pink with bright neon lights?
;)

Wow, very powerful.
My sister got a Thompson (I think) laptop a few months ago, I was shocked when I found out it was a 3.06GHz P4 in there, she got it at a pretty low price too, around 10 000 Kr (1,509). The GPU was shit though, some Intel crap. But she only uses it for ArcGIS anyways so.
Laptops are starting to look pretty good nowadays, the last laptop I owned was a PII 336MHz. :)

Sweet Jesus, that thing must fly. What\'s your mortgage company?
-
sager (http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.html), or nothing
-
never heard of that company, but damn... The thing has 5 speakers? What a trip.
-
And it also looks like it weighs about 20 pounds :/

I was just looking on the site real quick to get an idea of the prices. A laptop with a 3.4 P4, 2 gigs of ram, a Ge Force Go 6800, and an 8X DVD + R/RW combo drive cost nearly $4000.00. Cyrus\' has double the ram and another 60 gig hard drive. That\'s alot of loot for a laptop..
