Title: Any guitar players here?
Post by: PSX_J on December 29, 2004, 08:37:34 PM: Been playing a few months are so now, getting irritated though because I cant figure out how to "Drop C" tune my guitar. Someone mind explaining how to do this, turtorials on the internet are no help.

After that continue tuning as usual. That\'s how I was told, but I read about many different variations of a drop C tuned guitar.

I do have a tuner but how the heck are you supposed to tune to F and C with a tunner? Do you need one with more range than the one I have?

Post by: nO-One on December 30, 2004, 03:52:19 PM: Since you haven\'t been playing for that long I wouldn\'t recommend downtuning your guitar. Get to know standard tuning, chords and scales. Once you\'ve gotten to know that then start fiddling around with other tunings.

I have 2 kinds... an old Matrix Sr-100 and then a digital SEIKO SAT 100...not sure if that information helps.

No-one it\'s true I havent been playing long but I have become quite good quite fast...theres alot of songs I want to play in drop c.
