Is officially the biggest bitch ever.
Look Mo, everybody knows big time football programs have players that are paid by boosters... Little frickin\' taddle-tale has to come out now, and probably get his ex-coach fired.
Seriously, is this guy the biggest prissy-pants bitch or what?
I hope he never amounts to anything in the NFL... of which I am fairly certain he wont.

...he came out with it like 3 months ago. This is all about Troy Smith, who accepted money from a Booster this past week, and was suspended for the Alamo Bowl (which they promptly kicked ass in by 26 points anyways).
Clarett\'s stuff was about the exact same stuff, only he said it about 3 months ago...again, nothing recent from him, just more examples from Ohio State players accepting money from boosters.
See Yuz.

On a totally unrelated note Jamesy, might wanna change that signature of yours. I\'m pretty sure Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano no longer ALL have that in common :p
-
Anyone catch the spurs humiliating the suns last night? I was so proud :D
-
Woah, don\'t change the subject vivi. Yea, Clarett is pissed because he couldn\'t wait 3 years to be payed for life. Watching him play though he really is amazing talent that could amount to something. I was still cheering for him till this came out.
Jamas is right though, this is about boosters throwing money at Troy Smith till he finally accepted one. Luckily we\'re the real OSU and he rocked them even with Zwick.
Big10>all other conferences
-
That guy Ginn or whatever his name is #7 I believe, looks like he\'ll be a good player.
Anyway yeah I hope Clarett doesn\'t get drafted until the last pick of the 7th round.
-
Yea, Ginn is the fastest college player in the country. Being from the Ohio area I know guys that have raced him in the 110 hurdles, it\'s pretty unreal.
-
You mean you people actually watch the bowl games? I can\'t even watch the Gators unless they are in a real bowl game. They are useless.
-
Well, with all of this going down, I\'d really be susprised if Geiger and Tressell survive this, Tressell especially. He\'s had a history of this booster shit going on in his programs, going back to Youngstown State. It\'s not a good situation, and it\'d be a shame if a local boy completley defaced the good name of Ohio State.
See Yuz.
-
I never hear about it 3 months ago... my bad.
He\'s still a douche.
-
that bowl game rocked!!!! Zwick was awesome and the Offense made Oklahoma States look reallly stupid....they didnt need clarette......... that whiny bitch.......
-
Big surprise...

C\'mon Cedric Benson! See what great things being a bitch get you in the NFL?
-
serves him right
-
And to think he\'d be a senior this season if he didn\'t fuck things up. Not that the Bucks aren\'t going to win the championship anyway.

I\'m a nice guy. But yeah... It does.
Something they said during the Broncos game a few nights ago was that Mike Shanahan had to pull him aside at least 10 times in practice and explain to him what working at practice means. Freakin\' pathetic.

If you were in Benson\'s position you wouldn\'t sign the crappy bears offer either, they were screwing him big time on money.
-
Ehn, Benson is signed now anyway.
And yes, Clarett is most definitely an idiot.
-
how was the bears offer crappy
so you think he should have sat out the season then gotten drafted in the 3rd round and make half the money he would have had he signed the bears "crappy" offer
-
Did I say that??? No I just was agreeing on the stand point of the reason he didn\'t sign was because he didn\'t think it was a fair offer and if thats the case then why should he sign?
I believe there has only been 2 Bears 1st round draft picks in on time in the past 10 years, and if that doesn\'t say anything about how they deal then I don\'t know what will.
-
Dude, you have no idea what your talking about...
The bears last 2 first round picks were in camp on time.
And you did call the Bears offer crappy.
Sure, a 17mil bonus is REAL crappy. He got a deal right in line between the 3rd and 5th pick... I think thats fair, Especially for a guy who hasn\'t played one down the in the NFL.
Like Shock said, he\'s signed now, so its all good.
Well see how he does.
-
Whatever you say man you have your opinion. 5th pick didn\'t get good money, but whatever I have NO IDEA WHAT I\'m TALKING about because I\'m Not a BEARS fan like you two.
Besides I live in Austin so I\'ve hear for the past 4 months everything you can think of on his contract negotiations, but of course I\'m not a bears fan so I don\'t know shit, right?
-
The bottom line is it appears Benson wanted 5 years, the bears wanted 6. the money didnt change at all.
Nobody knows why he held out for so long.
The "not knowing what your talking about" comment was outta line, my bad.
-
Its cool. I know some people here like to get double teamed, lol but not me. You and Jar just beat me up.
-
Ced\'s having his first press conference here in a couple minutes... Well see what he has to say.
I\'m sure hell just spit out cliche after cliche about putting it all behind him and being here for his teamates and blahblah.
-
Thats what there good for.
-
Well the Broncos officially had the worst draft ever in team history.
-
Benson actually didnt come off as an idiot at his press conference.
Although he did, in fact, sign the deal that was put on the table almost 3 weeks ago.
5 years, 35mil with a 18mil signing bonus. What the hell was he waiting for all that time?
-
how is he expected to feed his family getting paid that amount of money?
-
Exactly ;-)

because they took a gamble that couldve had a huge upside if he turned out like he could have? oh well it failed, they have mike anderson, tatum bell, ron dayne (actually doing well in the bronco system, no surprise), and quentin griffin just incase. But would if..theyre still waiting for their young WR\'s to start producing so they dont need a WR till next year, they have a top LB crew, gerard warren is doing well, they could have gone with a DE but they decided to try another brown, theyre sticking with plummer till he does rediculously bad..
theyre first CB picked is doing reasonably well. With bailey and walls around all hes going to have to be is a nickel CB. Theyre other CB\'s i havent heard anything of so..definitly not a top one but the pickings werent exactly top notch in the areas they need.
