I hear even Kevvie himself couldn\'t even save this movie. Anyone seen it yet and want to give a little feedback?
-
I think the EVP thing in general is just stupid. I was watching Maury and the show was on these tools who totally have sold their souls to EVP.
Meh.

Just got back from the movie, it was a B movie. 3.5 stars out of 5. It simply relied on loud noises and quick visuals to create a scare. And it was along the same lines of Dragonfly except there is a real antagonist in the movie and not just a spooky phenom.
-
You saw Dragonfly, Theomen..?
Well, I saw The Village.. so I guess I can\'t bash you.
-
I watched Dragonfly on my boat when someone brought it over. It was either watch the movie or swim to shore.
-
what\'s up with all these supposedly scary rated pg-13 horror joints?..the village,..the grudge ,...and now white noise...they alll have the same themes..all dealing with some type of poltergeist....seems these movies are pure suspense with some camera trickery to make it seem scary...s**t..pg-13 horror films..

The Sixth Sense started it all
-
and should have ended it since that was the only good one.
-
I was not impressed with it, the ending is awful.
I\'ve enjoyed a few PG-13 horror films. Sixth Sense, The Ring, and The Grudge are excellent, imo. Most horror films that are rated R get it from excessive gore, explicit language, and nudity. Unfortunately most of them turn out to be lame in regards to the horror genre. Save for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre(sp?), I can\'t remember the last time I was freaked out by a R rated horror movie. The three PG-13 films I mentioned stayed with me for days.
-
the only movie that gave me a good scare was, halloween
-
Exorcist 3 for me.
I was living in Gainesville at the time when Danny Rolling was going around hacking people up. So it was just a creepy time.
-
The Sixth Sense started it all
Dario Argento just turned over in his grave
there\'s a world of cinema that they dont carry in blockbuster or show in that megaplex down the street ya know?
-
I\'m sure there is mm but that doesn\'t mean The Sixth Sense didn\'t get this rolling in the megaplex.
-
Uh, all scary movies scare me...\'the ring\', \'the sixth sense\'...heck, \'the others\' gave me nightmares. I kept every curtain open in my house for a month.

It\'s too bad it\'s not like that for all of us DeAnna.
It\'d make scary movies a lot more worth while.
I don\'t know what\'s scary, but I\'ll say that Freddy vs Jason is awesome. :)

that freddy vs jason joint was pure action horror...not scary at all..pretty entertaining tho...i think the last horror movie that scared me..and this was when i was younger was the first evil dead...and i agree ginks... i thought The Ring was pretty good the first time through..even tho it was pg-13...
-
The Village scared me pretty badly.
For a few weeks I didn\'t think I\'d ever want to see a hyped movie ever again..
-
I never saw The Village or The Grudge when they were in theaters...oh yeah, and also the movie Jeepers Creepers (1) scared the crap out of me too :(...I\'m a big scaredy cat.
I want to see scary movies, and I like to get scared by \'em, but afterwards I end up watching behind me all the time, or looking at how close cars get to our bumper...:p
Yeah...I am gonna have to see Jeepers Creepers 2...is it any good???
-
You guys like some piss ass movies.
-
The Grudge, not a good film, but still pretty scary.
-
there\'s two more comin out tho..one i think is called "hide and seek" starring robert deniro and the other is one that we all know...it\'s based on the game "alone in the dark"...i\'m not sure who it\'s starring..but it looks to be a wee bit darker and mature than that res evil movie..which i thought was alright..but leaning towards it being crap...
-
What happened was this..
I was flirting with a girl, she works at the theater, and she invited me to a test screening of The Village. Free, and we got to hang out a while.
Then we saw the movie and will forever be connected and scarred by the film.
After I began associating the movie with her, I realized it.. could not work.
-
not much scares me these days.. most of its the same shit different smell.
-
I haven\'t seen a movie that has scared me aside from Signs. I have seen several horror movies, any suggestions?
-
I liked "Darkness Falls". It just seemed different to me than most horror films.

Well if Signs got you scared, I recommend your next big scare come from Casper: The Friendly Ghost (w/ Christina Ricci).

I thought House on Haunted Hill was pretty freaky. I know many of you don\'t like it but it was a sleeper hit for me, even though the dumb cliches got in the way.
Excorcist is still the only movie that I find scary. The M. Night Shamaylan films are suspenseful but not really scary.
