Benq has 6ms LCD monitor in wings
Fast response. When is it out?
TAIWANESE MANUFACTURER Benq appears to be readying a six ms 19-inch LCD monitor.
The FP91V has a resolution of 1280 x 1024, a display area of 376.3 by 301.1mm, and a power consumption of 60W. The power supply is built into the six kilogramme unit.
But what\'s more interesting, if this specification page is correct, is that it has a response time of 6ms, grey to grey.
There\'s no price for the unit, nor is there any hint of when the unit will be available. µ
if it can do a pixel response time at 6 ms, then that is about 167 times it can change color per second....

[asian from fastandthefurious] Damn that\'s fast! [/]
Thanks for the news. I don\'t have high hopes for the color reproduction on this panel though. Tom\'s Hardware always points out in his tests that while the quick response panels are great for gaming, the 25-30ms panels in the Viewsonic LCDs always have the best colors. I hate tradeoffs. :(

Yep, gotta be careful, you can lose color for speed.

lcd black level isn\'t still good enough when compare to crt and its keep changing greyscale and color when you move your head and view it at a different angle...

I will never go back to CRT\'s and my eyes are thankful.
