Title: 1 gig vs 512mb gaming
Post by: theomen on January 19, 2005, 01:14:58 PM: anyone upgrade from 512 to 1Gb, if so what was the gaming difference. I\'m debating on either getting a Gig stick for my notebook (1.25gb total) or getting a 6600GT for my 3ghz desktop (current is crap 440 card)

either way, I\'ll get both upgrades within the next month

Heh. I sometimes browse with my 233 (266?) MHz notebook with 128 megs of RAM. I can hardly open 5 I.E. windows at once.
