Lots of defense departments from many countries get excited over lots of gadgets and many of them turn out to be too good to be true. And how could the US DoD not have known about this? Maybe coz they checked already and found it to be bunk?

EDIT: The filter only works with certain types of clothing and a certain amount of layers...not that I have personal experience or anything...that\'s just what I uh...what\'s that word? Oh yeah..."heard."
