Title: Upgrade to VBulletin 3
Post by: Weltall on January 24, 2005, 04:43:46 PM
It\'s nicer in several ways.

And perhaps add some selectable styles too. This place looks just like it did five years ago.

There is no site so there doesn\'t seem to be a point IMO. The only people that post are old regulars and occasionally a n00b.

I have about a dozen regulars and no site at my forums.

Doesn\'t mean my forums (http://tcforums.com/forums) can\'t look nice.

Hell, I\'ll do it in my spare time.

Well unless Bjorn upgrades we\'re stuck with what we have.  Plus, I don\'t come here because it looks funky.

I come here because I suck and have no life.  ;)

It\'s okay, honey.

Got any recent pictures of the fruit of your loins? His future wife still isn\'t born yet, but I\'m working on it.

You should. Mine may look like other VB3s, but this one looks like an ezboard.

Are you still pissed at me for calling you a fag years ago?

If so, I retract. I think you\'re pleasantly heterosexual.

Here\'s another example of VB3:

http://forums.maxima.org/

Scroll all the way down to the bottom to change styles.  SupraDonkey reminds me of this place.  It\'s faster and more reliable.  We shouldn\'t have to worry about tri-quadruple posts when things lock up, or when Clips makes another hot babe thread.

I know it\'s not free, I have some Paypal just sitting in my account.

It\'s true. If mm were a woman I\'d so do him... her.

Seriously though, let\'s liven the looks some. Hey, I\'ll even be the fag for a while. We\'ll play "Queer Eye For The Straight Forum"

No, honey, no. This won\'t do at ALL! Who tought you how to dress, your Goth friend Beelzebub? Where are the PIERCINGS and FISHNET SHIRTSLEEVES, for crying out loud? Where\'s the MARILYN MANSION music? Sweetheart, this just won\'t do. Pure black is so 1968. Do I LOOK like Martin Luther Queen? This isn\'t the civil rights era! Now, what we need is a splash of COLOR and some fuzzy frills! We need posh leather chairs! We need art deco! We need Duran Duran playing on the stereo! Oh my GOD girl, by the time i\'m done this place will look so Pitt-alicious it\'ll give me an erection that won\'t go down until at LEAST March 2008! WATCH OUT, LADIES! Oh, somebody call Christopher Lowell, I think I\'m going to FAINT! OH!

Thanks, DeAnna.

Since you registered, you are now obligated to post, btw. If you don\'t... whales will speak telepathically. Through their butts.

I like this forum\'s colors.

The triple post thing sucks, but, eh...

Not worth worrying about in my opinion.

The old (current) forums look fine to me. VB3 isnt all that attractive IMO.

3D and Transparencies would be fairly neat if not over done but i havent seen much of either on VB.

Perhaps i just dont care enough to look around.

Either way, im just used to this look.

About 5 years of viewing this freakin\' layout. But I wouldn\'t change it for the world. ;)

If it aint broke... Lick my balls.

I dont like the VB3 look any better than I do this.  Besides, I dont want to have to get used to a new layout
