Just curious
A) Can you see the video at all?
B) DOes it stream or make you d/l the whole thing first?
If not, what codec should I use to stream video that has fast paced editing? Lots of the crap I have tried look like shit, but divx looks phenomenal.

I have Window Media 10, and it doesn\'t play while it download (streaming), so I guess I have to download the whole thing.
Its about 16.5 Mbytes big. Will be a while for 56k users like me.

Yeah. That blows. It streamed for me. THat\'s why I was curious. I\'m going to get it down to about 6 meg hopefully. Really just curious about the codec.
The second half of the piece is kind of funny. We sat through a sleep study with the two people. All night. Man it sucked shooting it. But it was cool because I like doing freaky shit.

My resume I had to shorten big time. I really could shorten it a bit more by cutting out some of my college stuff, but I\'ve worked with a lot of equipment that people have in their studios so I want to leave it in there.
Heh, I forgot you could browse around the site now. I haven\'t done a darn thing to it. Every day I plan to work on it my dad calls me, "Hey can you help me dig a ditch?" "Can you help me build the bar?" "Want to help me lay pavers?"
Ugh. Can\'t wait till they are done with that house.
OK, you video freaks. What freaking codec do I use to get these file sizes down? THis is driving me nuts. I\'ve used everything I have and I haven\'t goten them down so good and looking decent.
DIVX looks by far the best, but I can\'t get them below 15 meg.

Yeah. THat\'s the problem with Divx. You have to get the codec to see the video.
I think you go to drdivx or something like that. Not sure.

The ending part is quite interesting....
about the woman having a dream that she will be hit by a truck and later on, she did got by a truck in real life....
Same thing witht the boy\'s dream of being chase by someone or something in his dream...
I do have similiar dream of being chase I guess but can\'t really remember them...
I do often have dreams but at times, I don\'t remember what I dreams about. Usually when I woke up, I sometimes forgot what was in my dream.
Maybe I do have dreams of deja vu but I can\'t really remember though. Last dream I remember I had, my sister came over to my house and she was being kinda mean like she\'s in real life and I was kinda scare of her.

I remember a website checking out the quality of the codec and I think DIVX is a good codec. There is another codec that\'s very good, but i can\'t remember its name.
DeAnna, maybe you need to update your Window Media Player to 9 or 10 in order to be able to play the DIVX clips...
or maybe just download the DIVX codec which in my opinion is faster and easier than updating WM10...

I shot that thing like 7 years ago. That lady was taking drugs which made her unable to sleep for quite a while. So when she finally did fall asleep she had some whicked dreams.
OK, I\'m tapped out. I can\'t get it down. What format should I be using? Or should I just let it be 17-20 megs and just warn people to save as.

if you copy the link to windows media player and do an "open as URL" and paste it there you dont need to download it...

Everyone has it, or at least should have it. It gives comparable results to Divx Pro and Xvid (Mpeg-4). The encoding program takes some getting used to if you want a true WMV/WMA wrapper, but you can also download the video codec package separately to use it in something like Vdub.

The video worked fine for me. I could watch it as it loaded. Pretty interesting.

I\'m going to try the WM9 and see what it gets me. A lot of my stuff is high speed and outside of divx, they loook like shit. You should see the beginning of that dreams piece as an mpg. oye.
