Got myself a Seagata Sata-150 160Gig 7200rpm 8meg cache hd..   Gotta say its a slight improvement over my ATA133 80gig hd.  Using that in my ps2 now.

Quiet huh?  Do you hear the railroad tracks sound it makes every few minutes?  Supposedly called STIR (Seek to Increase reliability IIRC (If I remember correctly)) which periodically moves the head to prevent heat damage.

well if u hear a sound lmk.  it\'s small but annoying.  it\'s only on the sata seagates but maybe the newer ones took it out.

yeah, I  bought me a wd 200gb sata drive about a month or so ago, feels a lot more roomy now, I\'m up 510gb in space most of which is full :(

How many HDs is that total and how do you fit them in your case?  I have just under 500gigs for video capturing but there\'s talks at AVS that Microsoft has stock in the new VOOM, meaning it may be even easier to start recording HD to your pc this year.  Those 400gb harddrives are looking prettier every day.

I only have close to 110GB of total space on 2 drives that are running together. I\'m looking at some 120 - 160GB drives because they arent too expensive but i wish i had something large enough to just dump and/or copy all my old shit.

Im a pack rat. Its hard to let some things go.

Besides that there are just a shit load of things i want to get for my pc but 1) im cheap 2) i dont know if ill game as much as i want to.

Yea i\'m loving it, I\'ve got plenty of room now. My ps2 is loving it even more. I can finally store more then 3 games on the hd. :D

I have 4 250\'s, 2 internal and 2 external.  If you count my kitchen pc and my notebook I have about 1.25 TB.

it\'s handy for recipes or when I\'m cooking and need to stay around the stove but don\'t want to sit their and watch something saute.  Everything is on wireless super G, so I can stream movies of my HTPC onto any computer.  Pretty soo I\'m going to install wireless media adapters into all the TV\'s so I can stream movies onto them.
