Since about a week my Outlook Express can\'t save attachments to disc anymore, nor opening up (which i never did anyway).
This is what outlook says :
"Outlook Express has made the following unsafe attachments non accesible.."
The odd thing is ; all other older attachments were able to save to disc earlier ; right now they can\'t be saved either.
Any clues you guys ? MS did do an windows update last week . Help please ! :(

In Outlook Express, go to Tools -> Options. Security tab. Make sure the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" box is UNchecked.

Ok, thanx for that Sara :)
But that basically means I\'m prone to infected attachments when i disable it, right ?
Hmm gotta make a choice then.

Basically, that setting is \'protecting\' you from potentially infected attachments by not allowing ANY attachments. A shotgun approach, as they say.
Any decent antivirus program will scan your emails for you.

When I had that problem I just forwarded the email with the attachment to my Gmail account (Yahoo is good too I suppose, make sure you have an inbox with lots of memory though, Hotdick only has like 4kb ;) , mine fills up kind of fast).
You could try that. :)
