According to this article (http://udn.com/NEWS/INFOTECH/INF4/2525826.shtml) (machine translation) (http://world.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?url=http%3A%2F%2Fudn.com%2FNEWS%2FINFOTECH%2FINF4%2F2525826.shtml&lp=zt_en) of a Taiwanese newspaper about Taipei Game Show 2005 (http://tgs.tca.org.tw/), tomorrow (Feb 25), it\'s going to be announced that a certain Japanese top-class game creater joins in the Xbox 2 camp, and the name Hironobu Sakaguchi, the Final Fantasy creator, of MISTWALKER (http://www.mistwalker.info/) is mentioned there.
-
The announcement for MistWalker is actually old news, but it seems that Xbox is finally going to get some RPGs. I don\'t mind as long as they don\'t abandon Sony...
-
I could care less what happens to Sony. If MS has the best developers/games next generation then I will switch my allegiance without hesitation. I fucking hate the way Sony handles the manufacturing of its products. When I worked at Best Buy the majority of products behind the Tech Desk were Sony.
-
oh, yeah
teh xbox\'s are free from any and all problems
(except when they can burn your house down)
i have my original PS2. it\'s called being responsible.
-
It\'s a gimmick to make people upgrade and buy Microsoft Homes.
*recalls how MS Office caused Win3.1 to crash to make people buy Win95*
*recalls how MS Office caused Win95 to crash to make people buy Win98*
*recalls how MS Office caused Win98 to crash to make people buy WinXP*
That xbox is evil I tellz ya.

Boring games on Xbox...could care less.

I do not know one person who has had a problem with their Xbox but I know at least 6 people whose PS2 decided to stop playing a certain kind of disk or completely crap out (and all of these people have both).
You have your original PS2 because you hate every game and every movie. Your PS2 is probably still in the box. Its called being a prick.

It\'s called shoddy manufacturing.
Sony makes shit hardware. My first PS2 broke but I still have working Ataris and Nintendos and Virtual Boys.
PS2 is the only system I\'ve had break and it chose to do it on its own accord.
Xbox keeps chugging. So far, the house hasn\'t burned down, either.

everything is built to break
never learned this?
there was an attempt at a class action suit not long ago because of the xbox "disk cannot be read" issues

whelp..i hope they don\'t abandon sony either..sorry, but i hate the xbox controllers...and i still have my ps2..since march 01 and it hasn\'t given me any problems yet...plays dvd\'s good too as well...i\'m not the type that buys all three games consoles per gen..i think that s**t is crazy...tho i see why people do it, it\'s just not my cup of tea...so for me ps3 is gonna be the only choice for me....

Depending on how things go, thats probably going to be the case for me too.
who knows
-
i prefer my PS2 despite that it shows problems.Everything else matters and PS2 is a winner

I don\'t care either way, I\'ll be getting all three consoles again. This time I\'m going to get one at launch and wait for the other two to go WAY down in price. I\'m very much torn between getting a Xbox 2 at launch or waiting for the PS3. If Rare has something good out at launch then I won\'t give it a second thought, but if Naughty Dog or Insomniac have something ready for PS3\'s launch I\'ll wet my pants and pre-order Sony\'s new toy.
I don\'t really prefer any of the controllers over each other, they all have quirks, imo. I don\'t like the four shoulder buttons on the Dual Shock, I don\'t like where the start and select buttons are on the Xbox S controller, and I don\'t care for the location of the Z button on Gamecube\'s controller.
My absolute favorite controller I\'ve ever played with is the Sega Saturn\'s, not the hockey-puck but that one is good too.
My Xbox crapped out on me after one year, bought it on 11-15-01, the thompson dvd drive went out. Replaced it back when Halo 2 came out and it\'s worked wonderfully ever since. Fortunately I haven\'t experience a fire due to the power cord, my free replacement is on the way.
Purchased a PS2 around March \'02, it\' been working great until the last few months. My Dual Shock controller no longer rumbles, it kinda jolts every now and then but I can tell it\'s dying. Also, my PS2 takes FOREVER to recognize and start a game. Since PS3 is backwards compatible I won\'t have to worry about purchasing another PS2.
My Gamecube has been perfect. Thank you, Nintendo.

3 psones.
One PS2 on the verge of death.
None of my other systems are.
Go figure.
-
hehe I think the reason why most products that have problems are Sony\'s is because most people buy Sony\'s products so chances of seeing a broken Sony product are higher

I cant believe how anybody can say this is their favorite controller. I liked the saturn but me and that controller were never best friends of even close to it.

It was a close tie between that and the SNES controller. They both feel the most comfortable. *shrugs shoulders

Where Final Fantasy goes I go.

I\'m telling you Sony DOMINATES the tech desk at most consumer electronic stores.
Sony is known for putting out a lot of overpriced and poorly manufactured home electronics. They will charge damn near $500 more for the same technology as a competing product and it will still sell fairly well on brand name alone.
-
-
I stopped buying Sony products a long time ago much like I did with Nike shoes. Cheaply made and overpriced.
-
*Looks around and waits patiently for ICO 2 on PS3.*
This argument is stupid.

You are right
