BAGHDAD, Iraq Feb 23, 2005 — Iraqi state television aired a video Wednesday showing what the U.S.-funded channel said was the confession of a captured Syrian officer who said he trained Iraqi insurgents to behead people and build car bombs to attack American and Iraqi troops.
The video also showed an Iraqi who said the insurgents practiced beheading animals to train for decapitating hostages.
Syrian officials could not immediately be reached for comment on the claims.

Is Syria begging for an ass kicking?

but does that mean this individual had the backing of the syrian gov\'t?...nope...that is symbolic to the person who planned the oklahoma city bombing...surely he doesn\'t represent all that america stands for...can\'t blame one man for character of the whole country..even if the country in question is kinda shady....
ok i read the whole article, if that is true then syria needs it\'s a$$ whooped...the only problem i have with this is the key words...U.S. FUNDED CHANNEL....could be propoganda..even if there were iraq\'s reporting it.......

Yes the article is slanted I picked up on that as well. I guess the writers slant worked on you... And people say the media doesn\'t lean to the left
If this would have been some anti American story it would have been written as fact...

ahh shaddap!:p...i gave the article the benefit of the doubt...you know as well as i do that propoganda works both ways with the truth lying somewhere in between...
