You have a child...
Logan\'s first baseball game. He was the only kid on both teams who hit from pitch both times up. At 4 years old they give 5 pitches and then hit off Tee.
Bunch more pics here. Nothing better than 3 and 4 year olds playing ball.

Yeah it was. Everything was great at that age.

As I remember, the kid\'s got a hell of a swing. Just look at that form.
-
well that\'s just fan friggin tastic ;)
you must be one proud dad!
-
You know I think playing hockey is what has helped him a ton. Chizz you would be so freaking proud of his hockey skills. He has fantastic hand eye coordination from playing hockey on the back porch. Uncle Chizzy showed him a massive backhand shot.
-
I used to play baseball - The Mean Green Machines. lol. How lame.
I always wanted to play hockey too but never ended up doing it.
Meh.
-
I used to coach kids\' roller-hockey at the YMCA.
It was a load of fun. I couldn\'t keep from jumping in and playing along during our practices.
-
Heh.... that backhand will make him a force to be reckoned with. Hardest shot for a goalie to read. Does he have rollerblades? Get him on those things.
-
No blades yet. One of the parents of a boy on his team has the full gear that we may buy off her. Only problem is with a kid\'s growth rate it is so freaking expensive to keep up.
-
Hey...
Maybe if the Yankees had him instead of A-Rod, they might not have blown harder than a porn star in a bukkake film in the ALCS...
-
Probably could\'ve saved $24.5 million too...

I remember playing baseball when I was a youngin. I sucked so bad that my coach put me in the outfield and the last to bat every time. Pricks all of them. I wanted to play hockey, I would have done better but my mom wouldn\'t let me. So, when I got into high school, I played lacrosse instead.

I spent a couple minutes this afternoon throwing together some video from Saturday\'s game. I didn\'t take neough video to do anything good, but here\'s what 3 year olds playing ball is all about.

Haha, great video...what did you do, stay out in the middle of the field with the camera the whole time!?!
-
i don\'t know, i guess i am not into baseball or softball or whatever you guys called it. But i guess its one of many ways to bring a child self esteem, confidences, and social life up especially at your son\'s age.
I guess my childhood life where a teacher that teach literature and also a baseball coach who was unjustly mean to me had dirty the image i have about baseball or softball players/coach, etc. I wasn\'t into it to say the least. Not that all baseball players are bad people, just that not all sports/athletic people are nice.
I remember one time I was walking in the blacktop alone with no friends, a guy targeted me and he threw football right into my head. If I didn\'t notice and dodge on time, I will get hit. I remember the whole team was disappointed as i heard them saying "ugh..."
Again, just my opinion based on my experience....*me runs and dodges tomatoes at the same time*

You sound like my cousin who "played" baseball for one season at age 6.
You have to know what you suck at, and then run away.

Well I only had the camera out there a short bit, but yeah. Parents are out in the field with the kids until they are 5.
