If Sony can make it round like that and get rid of that stand underneath then it would very sexy.

I think thats the power cord seeing as how is coming from the stump and behind the front of it...

God it looks FUGLY, if there is a God the ps3 will not look like that.

I think they would want to keep the design within people\'s console comfort zone. Maybe a different color and layout of components, maybe a slot loading drive or something.

BUT.. what are the sound levels from the FANs going to be like? I reckon both the CPU and GPU will require fans this time? PS2 only has one fan and a heatsink.

And you guys are on crack. That first image you posted is like...a year old...and that big ass pic in the magazine...shit...look at the size of the freakin\' console compared to the controllers. That is ridiculous. That\'s like 3 times the size of the PS2, so if that was actually real, which it sure as hell isn\'t, it wouldn\'t sell in Japan. That makes the Xbox look like a baby.

i actually thought the same thing..those renders are old, these images just seem to resurface i\'m assuming because of sony recently announcing that it will have demos of ps3 at E3 this year...
