My 2 weeks is up. This afternoon, I am leaving my office of 5 years.
I start at the new company on Monday.
I may not be posting for a while, until I get a better feel for the new place.
Any last day suggestions? Should I just slack off and play basketball with my trash can?

Hit on that hot chick in the office you\'ve always wanted, you horny bastard.

They had a surprise party for me yesterday. They thought that since it was the day BEFORE my last, that I wouldn\'t suspect anything.
I acted surprised anyway.
Today I\'ve just been tying up loose ends and finishing up a few important jobs, so they won\'t be left hanging.
The funny thing is that I\'ve been here 5 years, but I don\'t have any personal items to take home. Nothing here is mine. I\'ve never brought anything from home to my office.

that is kind of odd.... Nothing ever???

Liar. You put yer boogers under your desk.
-
Nope. I took the time to look around for things that I needed to "clear out my desk", but there wasn\'t anything to take. No pictures, no nicknacks or pens or anything from home.

Awe damn, you\'ve got a point there. I can see a few hairs in my keyboard that I can take home with me.

Thats kind of unusual is\'nt it never bringing in anything of your own from home, no family pics or nothing, before i had the stroke i had a couple of die cast cars on my desk and a pic of my wife. That reminds me i goota get the cars back, i will have them mail them to me, already brought the photo home.

I suppose it is a bit strange. I am sort of an air plant. I tend to fit into my surroundings instead of changing my surroundings to fit me.
