not sure if you\'re serious or bulls**ting....everybody becomes depressed at some point in life...but you should never ever let it get to the point of where you want to do that....just think about what you have to be thankful for...your health...you\'re not sick or handicapped etc...i\'m sure if sit back and reflect for minute...you\'ll know there are countless others that are in a far worse situation that you\'re in....
and s**t you\'re the "white god"...use some of those powers to cheer you up..:)

Well, I suggest finding some hobbies to pass the time.. perhaps alternative forms of expression...
Ever try writing? art? music? games?
Try some of that.
Just live life buddy, try and keep things simple. The good stuff will fall into place if you just go with it.
Whatever you do though, do not start to seriously consider the option of suicide.
There are friends in millions of places for you. So just try and remember the positives.

I know i\'ve never talked to you before, but the bad times you are going through now aren\'t going to last forever. Life is short too begin with, get out there and experience everything. If you are a shy guy then just say f**k it and do all the shit you normally wouldn\'t do.
I know it\'s easier said than done, but this will soon pass and things will get better. There are so many people and wonderful things in this world.. not sure where to go from here.

Hey Adan, I dont know what it is and i nobody is saying that you need to spill your guts out right here right now but It would be easier if we knew why you felt like you do. Straight sympathy never works so im not going to tell you that everything is alright and things will change for the better etc. Usually things do change but it doesnt always happen in a snap you know?
I cant say "i understand what youre going through" either. First i dont know why youre feeling down and second i cant say that ive been in the same exact situation even if you did tell me but from what it sounds like i can definately say that ive been down the suicide route before. Im sure plenty of others here have as well. I wont go into details but i can say that it was worth not doing. I cant say im the happiest camper in the world but like i said, Its most likely not worth it. - especially if youre religious. But thats a whole other topic.
Basically, you have people here that you can talk to. Lets face it. You most likely wouldnt have posted if you were seriously determined 100% to just off yourself. If you have doubt then just give it time. If you feel like you want to kill yourself every minute of everyday for weeks/months on end then maybe you should look into some help. But if thats not the case, we\'re here and will always try to do something if not everything we can to help.
Remember that.

Bored to read it.Some things are bothering him probably he doesnt feel like talking about.If its something bothering him about his self or something he did that lowered his self esteem for example then he wont be feeling like talking to people he barely knows in a public forum about it.
At the same time he feels the need of consolation from someone since his isnt well psychologically.He might be undecisive to whom or if its a good idea to express his problems to us.

I really expected a more entertaining thread. The guy is asking for ideas, not a bunch of "it\'s not worth it, Adan...it\'s not worth it!" I think we could at least grant his "last" request.
So here are my contributions:
-Trick a family member into doing it. Fake a 2am break-in. Father ends it all with one fell swoop of his rapier (this is spain, right?). Maximum emotional devastation for all. Bonus if a sibling witnesses the whole thing.
-The ol\' head-in-the-oven. Bonus if you can pull it off with an electric.
-Wear polyester leisure suit. Set self afire. The melting plastic fibers should be delightful.
-Drink self to death. While doing this, meet beautiful hooker who loves you unconditionally yet cannot disuade you from your goal. (not my idea, but darkly poetic and might earn you an oscar)
-Hide in landing gear of jumbo jet.
-Remove safety nets from family-sized trampoline. Impale self on neighbor\'s fence post. May require multiple attempts.

I remember an episode of Law & Order where a kid in a chat room was contemplating suicide and people were making fun of him and egging him on and he blew his brains out.

I was starting to get worried when you didn\'t reply. I\'m glad you decided against it. No matter what is going on, a person always gets stronger when they get over something rough. Its happened to me. There were times I just wanted to end it but didn\'t and now I\'m stronger.

The outside world will judge relatives and family too. Imo that\'s the thinking error ppl make : committing suicide not only affects you, but everything you\'d been \'attached\' to in life.

Yeah, but the concept only makes sense if you\'re alive. It\'s not something you can ponder about if you\'re dead. So it\'s only something that\'ll concern you while you\'re alive, perhaps forcing you to decide not to commit suicide.

Commiting suicide isn\'t easy I think, otherwise more people would have done it. Most people just don\'t have the guts.

They considered it an honorable thing to disembowel and "eviscerate" ;) themselves in front of the emperor. They didn\'t kill themselves because their life was sh^t and had severe depression.

No, not really. It was dishonorable to "die by the hands of an enemy" in battle. Choosing self-sacrifice, instead of this, showed their honor, courage, loyalty, moral character," etc..

I have to agree with you there. I knew a kid that killed himself and the impact it had on my good friend was terrible. It was his half brother but still, he was a wreck. I\'m just really thankful I never had a really close fried kill him/herself. If I did, I would be a mess.
I think the only time it is justified to kill yourself is in war when you are about to be a) captured and don\'t want to endure the torture of being a POW or b) about to be captured because you have knowledge that will lead to the deaths of your own. But I\'d rather die shooting my way out :cool:
