See if you can figure this thing out. How many petals are around the rose?

Its said that the smarter you are, the harder is it for you to figure it out, thus usually takes longer time. The more simple minded you are, the faster you will get the answers....or something like that...and i can see why.
Once you get it, don\'t share the solution...

I figured it out.
[sp]If the dice has a center dot, just count the dots around it and that\'s the answer.[/sp]

EDIT: after reading SR\'s post I now Know. I don\'t think I would have got it.

By far the stupidest thing I\'ve ever came across.
Its comforting that the longer you take, supposedly the smarter you are. Because I had no freaking clue what I was supposed to be looking for.

Yeah but my initial assumption was simply to count all the outside dots, (*&^@(*&^(*&^@!(*#^&DOUCHE(*#&$()*&#).

I guess I should have wrote it more carefully next time on my first post. I should have wrote, "how many petals are there?" instead of "how many petals are around the rose"....
which gives away the clue...
or best, I shouldn\'t have said anything about it after "see if you can figure it out..."

Oh, I don\'t understand what\'s wrong with being simple minded? Because from a survey, simple minded people are happier than smarter people because smarter people do things that require lots of heavy thinking while simple minded people just enjoy their lives more...
being simple minded doesn\'t necessary means you are dumb. Its just mean you think things more simply and in this case, solve things easily while smart people struggle and complicate things sometimes that thinking it a simplify manner actually solves the problem faster and less work and more convenient like finding the answer to numbers of petals around the rose...
At first, when I look at the game, I was looking for the pattern and I wasn\'t thinking about the title, so I look at the dice and its dots and I goes, hmm...just give a number and see what comes up. When the number doesn\'t come up the same as I thought, I try to figure out why does this number come up, so I thought, maybe because this dice have this many numbers, or add this dice to this dice, or maybe the pattern is only at dice 1 and 3 combine...etc, i kinda give up after like a couple of minutes and I thought the game was just a hoax.
later, when some more people found out the answers, they gave me a big hint about the "petal around the roses" and after some more several tries, I finally figure it out. It took me a while though. When I figure it out, i didn\'t figure it out completely until later on when I think about the title of the game and I try ti visualize what it meant, and I go duh!!!!
But the guy that started this game topic in a different forum said it took him 2 hours and he nearly throw the computer out of the window when he found out the solution...and another guy thought there is no real answer to the solution...

Jesus Christ, if you can\'t figure out the puzzle aspect of it, just take a random guess. Then narrow down the possibilities of how the \'correct\' number was actually achieved until you find the logical solution. Took me about 20 seconds that way. 2nd go.

I ve seen it a month ago.I ve been trying fon an hour doing math and complicated thinking (and coincidentally sometimes I was getting the right answers 4-5 times in a row with few methods I thought off :D) but at the end I tried to take a complete diferent way of approach.When I found out I was like :eek: ITS SO FUCKING SIMPLE

Let me tell you MATH has nothing to do with over all "intelligence." One basic portion maybe but way to many other thing come into play..
