Title: My best friend died.
Post by: CHIZZY on March 22, 2005, 06:03:28 PM: Ichabod, the cat in my avatar died an hour and a half after I got off the plane from vacation. Won\'t go into details just now, just
wanted to post a tribute. I had him since his eyes were closed and bottle fed him back to health. That was 9 years ago.

I had a cat I was so attached to when I was younger, and had to have him put down.

I know you put beer in his water bowl. I remember one time when Stanley was a puppy (2 months old) my parents had a Christmas party and it seems that every one thought it was cute to feed the puppy beer. I honestly thought when we woke up the next morning the dog would be dead. It was very scarey. I mean he was barely a pound.

Ever tape his feet? That\'s the freaking best. Cats are sizilly.

Did you ever dress him in silly outfits?

On a side note. Does that printer also have a refridgerator? That thing is fucking huge. Nice printer stand too. heh.

When we got back from vacation her oldest cat lost its voice - I have never seen anything like it, he can barely meow. Odd.

One used to be awesome and chill by me while i play basketball, and it kept almost getting hit by the ball so i called it "lucky." Didnt turn out to be so lucky though.

Anyway, i only have a dog but ill be sad as hell when it passes away.

I will be with a girl and he\'ll just keep jumping all over us. He also has a sinus problem so he\'ll try to sneak up on you but you could hear him. Annoying but a cool cat I wouldn\'t trade.

Post by: CHIZZY on March 25, 2005, 01:18:45 PM: we get his ashes back in a week or so. I\'m gonna get a nice urn and put it on the windowsill where he used to sit in the sun.

What happened is this. I took him to the vet 2 days before we left for a skin rash. They gave him a shot of cortisone, and prescribed an antibiotic. That messed his stomach up so bad that he didn\'t eat the whole time I was gone. His liver shut down, and he became jaundiced. I walked through my door at 12:30 am, after travelling all day, and he didn\'t even look up. He was as limp as a noodle. I rushed him to the emergency vet, and they said it was too late. They said if they admitted him, hooked up IV \'s, and force-fed him, there was a 20% chance he would make it. That would also cost a couple thousand dollars. (not that it mattered) I knew how much he hated the vet\'s, so I didn\'t want to put him through it. Man, it was so hard to say goodbye to him. Poor little bugger.
