Title: Which GTA is best?

My bro and I were discussing this, he\'s been playing since #2 and all the ones since.  We both seem to like #3 with the no-name guy.  I have to say SA has tons of personality with all the voices they have, celebrity and non, but we seem to like the style and city layout of #3 the best.

What do you think?

Ive been playing since 1.

Its a hard call really, but the most ground breaking i would have to say would be 3 just because of the leap it took from overhead, not too complex to 3d, and just.... so new. Before it, there was nothing like it.

I have really liked them all though. 2 was so much fun. I loved the style and everything. Playing on dreamcast or pc with friends lasted forever, considering we just took turns and hung out.

I cant say i disliked any of them, though i think i liked London the least at the time it was released.

Naturally, I think SA is the best, but for me, from a personal point of view, VC will always have a special place in my heart, sort of my nostalgic favourite. I remember the era Vice City was set in very well, along with the music in the game, and the fashion styles.

I\'ve played all the GTA games to date, apart from that gay 1960\'s london version, and I\'ve enjoyed each and every one of them.

I recall being blown away by the graphics in GTA 3 when it came out, many a time while I was playing it, I thought to myself "this game can\'t be beaten, it\'s perfection", and as we all know, it has been, twice.

I think I\'ll always be a fan of the GTA series, and as long as they don\'t rush out their next game, I\'ll get it.

The thing I\'m most looking forward to, is the first GTA game designed for the highly anticipated PS3. If there is a similar leap forward between PS2 designed GTA games, and the PS3 ones as there was from PS1 to PS2, I\'m sold right now.

GTA SA is the overall best of the series for me, but I don\'t think it will be the best ever, the crown will probably be taken by the next one.

SA and VC all the way, although the originals are great fun MP.

I\'d also like to see how GTA carries over to the PSP.

Same with GT4.

So, I have never played GTA:SA (:() so I\'ll have to vote for VC.
