Well, well, well. Finally, the time has come. We are at the cusp of the next-generation in videogaming and most experts agree the jump from current hardware to next will be astounding.

Were you upset when True Fantasy Live Online got canned? Are you still waiting for Star Wars Galaxies? You think Delta Force Black Hawk Down\'s 50 player battles look good? Wait until you play with your clan in 5,000 player battles... XNA and the next generation of Xbox Live will make it possible.

If the concept of a massive multiplayer online FPS sounds too good to be true…it isn’t. In 2006 it will all become a reality thanks to the folks at Webzen; the Korean development studio behind the Unreal Engine 3-powered gem entitled Huxley a game that will use the most advanced tools to create the ultimate Xbox Live experience.

In this exclusive interview Producer, Kijong Kang, gives us the inside scoop on the beginnings of the game, Webzen’s use of the UE3 and thoughts on other next-gen technologies, and what we can expect from Huxley on the next Xbox Live.

Wow, 5,000 players!

When you want to speculate and forecast you think and analyze possibilitities. Then you explain what will happen and WHY you believe it will happen.

You are just a spammer

the 5k battle obviously isnt 5k in the same area. while xobx2 will probably be powerfull enough to display those character model.. i dont see it display 50 like that..

I am not a tech wiz, but i\'d really be impressed if 5k can share the battling data fast enough to be interesting.. specialy when FPS people think 80ms is laaaaaaagy.

If they could make a 5,000 person battle I would have to pass. I\'d much rather stick to the simple socom 16 man fight cause I really enjoy being alive for over one second.

Do you all honestly believe that it\'ll have 5K battles? You couldn\'t transfer the data that fast, never the less the system rendering it all.

But L-I-C... is says that you\'ll be in 5000 player battles!! You\'re not suggesting that they\'re lying are you???

So I wonder what would happen if all 5000 people met up and decided to try and cram themselves into one small room and hold a non-alcoholic dance party..

And pigs will grow wings and fly.

The PS2 will deliver toy story graphics in real time.

M2 is the next big thing.

The Atari Jaguar was 64 bit.

Want one to add to this list of spin-doctoring and hype?

That\'ll your "clan" will be part of a 5,000 player battle.

Rightttttttttttttttttt........
