Title: Gas Prices can suck it
Post by: THX on April 04, 2005, 06:45:09 PM
So it\'s happening, they\'re slowly raising the prices even more to make everyone feel complacent when summer arrives.  Now it\'s always over $32 when I fill up. :\\

I hope when I\'m old people groaning about transportation costs is a thing of the past.  Yes I\'m that optimistic. :p

Your avatar sucks. Everyone knows Mario would never have a sexual encounter with Peach. His constant missions to go "save her" was nothing more than him looking for an excuse to see King Koopa, whom he had homosexual desires for.

Jesus, I swear, if you are going to use a Mario avatar, at least make sure it is correct .

I laugh at SUV owners.

*points and laughs* BWAHAHAHA!

$60 a tank! And lasts no more than my Impreza (or any sedan or hatchback) with only 1/2 as much as their tank (mine is about 14 gallon capacity)!

The lease on my truck is up in september, I will probably not get another vehicle for a while. I live with my fiancee, and work in the same building, less than 2 miles from my house. She\'s got a new car, so f*ck it. I\'ll make her chauffer me around for a while. Maybe I\'ll get a motorcycle or Vespa or something. I rented one in Key West, and drove it for a week on 2 gallons of gas. I\'ll be saving $320 lease payment, $110 insurance, and $100 in gas a month. Couple that with the fact that I don\'t have to pay $650 rent anymore, I live for free. YAY!

Bastard.

We\'re paying something like 2.39. In some places its 2.50.

I have like a 15gal tank and for some odd reason my car likes to eat gas like crazy. Im supposed to be getting 23 city but it seems more like 18-19. Something is definately wrong. I can only get close to the 20\'s it seems with really careful thottle control. Other than that its just gone (and this is a 2.0L 4cyl).

Meh. At least i dont have an suv.

hell no man. They know well pay for it so they charge an arm and a leg.

Not even going to get into housing since i dont know an actual number but it\'s ridiculous.

edit: i want to say 300,000 for a pretty crappy house. Remember talking about the houses in the neighborhood of my school in Econ class. "Crappy" isnt a good word, but their pretty much flamable and are sturdy..but definitly not a house worth 300,000.

biatches. Gas went up to 2.62 in 2 weeks from 2.49. This is getting gay.

And i was going to go to six flags next friday (2 and a half hour drive)...maybe my friends dad can drive us. Then im driving to bakersfield (almost 4 hour drive) to visit some friends, but my parents and i will split the gas money. The good thing is is that my car gets good mileage. Costed 35 bucks to fill it all the way (yesterday) and it takes 2 weeks to have to re-fill.

thats for regular btw. the others are like 2.70 and so on.

Why is it that Asian drivers in Northern Virginia SUCK SO BAD when it comes to driving? They go like 55mph on the passing lane....on the BELTWAY! Then just coz they turn on the signal light, they think they can change lanes even though I\'m right there!

They need to be shipped back on the banana boat I came off of. ;)

You would be shocked how much I travel using the car... hence the Diesel engine....

You should also realise that a High price per L or Gal... leads to GREATER fuel COSTS....

I used something called "Mathematics" to work out MY fuel costs which is relevant, to the bulk of members in here who happen to be American (hence the £ to $) conversion.

But you didn’t even REALISE that….

YOU ASSCLOWN !

So PLEASE STFU

has anybody else\'s gas prices been dropping lately?  It was $2.09 just last week, now it\'s $1.99 all over the place.

What\'s the deal?

I fill up when it goes down near 2 dollars so I don\'t have to when it rises up again.

cy, i seen that comment you made about your mom....best wishes bro, i had to go to north carolina this past weekend for my cousin who had cancer and didn\'t even know until it was too late. on that note when i was traveling i noticed that from delaware on down the gas prices were hovering around 2.38 - 2.43 for premium. i\'m only posting premium cause that\'s all i use. but i have seen it as high as 2.51 and that was for regular  i think i was crusin in maryland when i seen that price...

and it seems that prices have come down a little..in jersey right now the price for premium is about 2.23 - 2.25...s**t is still high..i remember when the highest you\'d see in jersey for the summer months would be at max 1.86 for premium...seems like those days are over....
