Hey guys I\'m just curious about something and if anyone could help that\'d be appreciated.
A week yesterday I mailed out a money order to a friend of mine in Pheonix, Arizona. Its Saturday now and he still hasn\'t recieved it.
I\'m basically in Toronto and I was wondering how long you guys would think it should take to reach him.
I know that when I put it in on the friday that it wouldn\'t actually be mailed out until monday and i just did regular mail no overnight crap or nothing.
Anyways i\'m very curious as to where my 30 $ US is floating around...
-
you spent 30$ to mail a money order?
hello paypal?
-
It\'s not unusual for something to take that long lately. The USPS has been cutting services recently, and the shit is taking forever. And US/CAN adds like 2 days.
-
no MM I ment to say I mailed a 30 dollar money order
the envelope/stamps/money order istelf only cost about 2.75$
okay thankyou CHIZZY i\'ll keep on the lookout.
-
why would you mail a money order?

Some people still leave the house on occasion.

So true.
Or maybe his friend did not have a Paypal account? Maybe he doesn\'t have one? The list goes on and on. Then again, some people just do not like to transfer money online.

leaving the house and doing something with extra risk and effort are two different animals
you might as well of put $30 cash (which is worth like 80 cents in US dollars) and gave it to the border police to deliver it himself.
paypal accounts are free, you can pay to any email address

no paypal accounts
no extra risk, it got there today
no extra effort...post office is across the street.
and I wasn\'t talking about Canadian funds in the first place it was US dollars I mailed out.
the difference was around 7 dollars and something.
38 canadian = 31 american.
anyways thanks for the info
