The newest issue of PC gamer has a confirmation on Fable: The Lost Chapters... A port of the Xbox version.
Here is a quote from another forum.
nope this isn\'t a straight port of fable xbox. and quote the developer "After Fable came out on Xbox, we never stopped working on it." its gonna include 33% MORE content then what fable xbox was released with.
read it in pcgamer that i got today.
It is suppose to be shown at E3.
Now, I liked Fable, but it left a lot to be desired near the end. Not sure if I\'ll bother with a PC version.

By no means did Fable suck.
Was it over hyped? Yes.
It didn\'t "suck" though and if you would of taken away all the lies and hype, the game would of done a lot better.

The Lost Chapters might make it to Xbox as well.
I just got the May issue of Game Informer magazine and on Pg. 22 Game Informer confirms that the PC version of Fable: The Lost Chapters is coming out on Xbox.
Here\'s the exact quote from Game Informer:
"NEW FABLE FOR PC/XBOX
Peter Molyneux\'s Fable is heading to the PC with some alterations from the Xbox version. Fable: The lost Chapters will appear this fall and contain new quests, regions, spells, creatures, weapons, and more not in the console edition. Game Informer has learned that an Xbox iteration of the Lost chapters is also being planned for the future."
This is great news for Xbox Fable fans! I hope this will come to pass.

Honestly, Fable was a fun game with very solid graphics and play control.
It deserved something in the area of a 9/10 (compared to other Xbox titles) and I agree that the hype hurt it.

I enjoyed Fable during the game even after I beat it, I just think you could tell a lot was cut out. Not to mention with all the hype, you knew the things that was cut out, therefor you knew what you was missing. Just look at it as when you watch a film and everything doesn\'t quite "flow". You know a lot was left on the cutting room floor.

It has been rumoured since the release of Fable, but it has just noe been confirmed.
