Vinny has a problem…
He has just been released from Rickers prison after serving a three year stretch. Unfortunately, his dreams of the quiet life on the outside and seeing his girl didn\'t quite work out as planned…. His younger brother Tony has went and got himself into some serious trouble….
"2 Days To Vegas" is a story driven 3rd person action-adventure game. The thrill-a-minute story is crammed full of car chases, shootouts and unexpected twists, to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the game. The action is set in several major cities across the USA and takes place during an intense 48 hour period. This game has it all, a gripping story of contemporary gangster life combined with thrilling car chase action and an intense race against the clock.
The project is under constraction.

when i first saw those images i thought back of those super imposed visuals from the getaway...but that yellow car looks like a real photo! looks sharp!... the city looks extremely impressive. the ingame characters look a wee bit out of place in that first shot tho...still impressive stuff..:fro: took a double look at that first pick again..naw the characters fit right in the game perfectly.

Still won\'t know if these are renders or not until further info is released. The company "claims" they are real, but I guess we\'ll wait and see. These pics are on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 sections of IGN.

They looks real-time to me. This is exactly what I expected out of this gen, very nice. Those Madden pics dont compare to this.

tru no doubt...the only thing that might be rendered is that yellow car...heh this next generation of consoles might finally come close to that pc type graphical quality....

That Yellow-Car in the shop looks sharp! Nice PS3 Photos...Also the cop in the closeup looks awesome..Im going to have to check up on this... THIS IS THE NEXT GENERATION

Seriously. Less than 3 weeks until E3. ;) Can\'t wait for the "REAL" games.

Render another 20 cars on screen with that 1 car, then lets see how it fairs.

The exact polygoncount of the car is NOT the point. (maybe the polycount will be lower on Xbox360 ;) )
The lighting, the softshadowing, the characters who look like believable next gen realtime models.
You can deduct from stuff like that, that atmosphere is going to be dynamic and npc AI will probably be pretty cool. The lighting looks like radiosity which HL2 still only has in prerendered textures or static prepass.
This looks like ingame to me and it\'s the first next gen game footage which actually wows me :D

They are renders I believe.The same model in the second screen can also be seen in the first in the exact same pose(te exact same thing that was seen in the Getaway renders

3 weeks?! I wish i could go. How much is it anyway?
Meh.
Even if these are renders, they still raise a hair or two. I really cant wait to see what the first batch of next gen is going to look like. And like most gens the graphics, etc will only get better as people learn the hardware better.
Im still a bit skeptical but im really hoping that i wont be dissapointed.

There has to be a large enough gap between the current console\'s technology and the next generation\'s console to justify the release of a new console.
Not only do I believe that the next generation will be capable of this quality, but I expect no less than this from the next generation of consoles. I mean, why should we invest the money for a new console unless it has a large enough technical gap to demand a new purchase.
I\'ve been alive long enough to witness enough console releases to understand the demand for a "breakthrough justification."
I don\'t think the major players would release a console unless they thought that they had enough power to "WOW" the masses with their new abilities.
I remember getting the NES and being AMAZED that Mario had a nose, and eyes...
Damn, I feel old....

we started out with a pong console with the turn dials, but that didn\'t amaze me. What I thought was crazy was how the light gun for Duck Hunt knew I was actually aiming at ducks!

I have to agree with you, the are dupe renders.
I mean did u guys not see they are also listed as X Box pics man! wtf!? stop for a second and think about this everyone.. the same pictures...are in game for X Box on IGN, what does that mean? Dupes.

Bet you this game sucks.
It\'ll probably be the first GTA ripoff of the next gen. Switch expansive gameplay with time limit. Apply fancy graphics.

It\'s amazing after seeing all these damn pics, we still have NO IDEA what next-gen games are going to look like, with the exception of Possession, but that game isn\'t anything fantastic.

My guess?
The leap won\'t be all that big of a deal. It\'ll be things most nerds like us will drool over, but the casual person could care less about. Remember, the biggest jump was from 2D to 3D, now it is just a matter of upping the ante and fine-tuning.

As the gaming press fell over itself to be the first to post screens of the wonderful-looking 2 Days to Vegas last week, perhaps SPOnG was the only games outlet bothering to question the validity of the various next-gen claims.
And it would seem we were right to do so. You may have read on various sites that the game is well underway for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This simply is not the case right now.
In a case of catastrophic blunderings, it would seem again that not a single outlet bothered to obtain clarification from developer Steel Monkeys on the progress and platform of its eye-opening game. Except of course, SPOnG.
Speaking to us today, Steel Monkeys spokesman Derek McLennan explained, “I can confirm that the game is in development on PC and that I am extremely pleased with the progress of the title so far. I\'m sure it will raise a few eyebrows with its technological and game play elements and we\'re quite happy with the way it looks too!”
And of the beautiful-looking screens that we saw on the studio’s official site? “Unfortunately, some of the images that are displayed on the website are our internal benchmark graphics and were not actually meant to go live, although I can say that they are a very fair representation of our current standard and what could be the minimum final quality. The title is definitely being developed for PC on our new "belief" engine, however we are also a console developer and the next generation hardware is very interesting.” Oops!
So, to settle the matter: 2 Days to Vegas is in development for PC right now. Not anything else. The game certainly looks better than other recent titles flagged as next-gen, that’s for sure, and SPOnG believes it\'s likely that the title will make the jump when the time is right.

Spong makes up interviews and quotes, so I really don\'t what to think at this point.
