Anyone else seen this movie?
It\'s the funniest movie I\'ve seen in a LONG time.
It stars Stephen Chow and it\'s also directed by him.I never heard of him untill now but it appears he is quite the legend in Asia.
The movie contains everything a good movie should:Humour, action, story, emotion, good music and that mystery ingredient that pushes it into the territory of "Great Movies"
Anyway,go see it!!

[MMmode]While I seen this movie so long ago. [/MMmode]
Pretty funny though.
-
It\'s pretty good but had several key plot elements that threw the audience a curve in the wrong direction. And like always the ending needed work.
But I still loved it & I plan to see it again with more people this weekend. Too bad movies like this don\'t get top 5 in usa.
-
The ending was wonderfull IMO.
It left al lot of things open for interpertation, therefore it\'s something you can discuss with friends afterwards.
And the reason I\'ve only just seen it is because I live in Holland.It\'s not even released here!
I suppose it was released a couple of weeks ago in the U.S.A.

***spoilers ahead***
[sp]- Last fight scene was way too short.
- The first 3 kung-fu masters died much too quickly (whose personalities were great for the story)
- the kung master "lovers" were a waste of time
If they stuck with the fun & campy Buster Keaton theme like they did at the beginning I think it would have been twice as good. The head honcho of the axe gang seemed like a badass at first but turns out to be a pu$$y. What a drag![/sp]

User the spoiler function you retard. Anyway...I\'m seeing this one on the weekend. Looks funnier than sh^t. :p
-
I didn\'t understand how the one dude (the main character) heals himself by punching the wall inside that traffic signal box or whatever it was. Just one of several small problems, but overall it was very entertaining. I\'m glad the lollipop girl plot was not explored any further.
BTW I saw this about 4-6 weeks ago. I think it was released in LA before the wide release.
-
I guess you guys don\'t get what the spoiler function does.
-
Here\'s an explanation of some of the things in the movie.Keep in mind that this is from 1 person\'s perspective:

Point 8 is very interesting.

My post didn\'t give away anything because it was too vague. Besides, why would you even click on the thread if you haven\'t seen the movie yet?
-
I wasn\'t referring to you. I was talking to THX. And I\'ll come back to this thread after I see the movie...

He need to balance his chai....
-
My Chai? Like Chai Tea? Or Chi...?
-
EvX I never open a thread for a movie I\'m going to see, especially if it\'s already been released. What\'s the point? Otherwise you have a thread full of annoying spoiler tags. Not to mention most of the posts look like this:
"Man this is gonna be awesome"
"I\'m gonna see this movie"
"I\'m gonna see it tomorrow"
"This is gonna be awesome"
"This movie is gonna be suck"
and so on
-
I know...my apologies. Continue with the spoiling and whatnot. ;)
-
i did see it a hell of a long time ago
starts off very funny, but then goes downhill from there
-
Just wanted to post and break Evi\'s streak of having every second post in the thread.... and every other thread.
Oh, and you were clearly referring to Coredweller. So apologize you freakin\' liar!
^^ Just wanted to give you a real reason to reply again, and not post some redundant shit.

Girls have boobs.

The spoiler tags are there for a reason. I always go into threads to movies i may not have seen just to see reviews vague enough but detailed enough to give me an idea of how it was like. The part cored posted was somewhat vague but even then it gave away more than i would have liked to know.
Meh.
Ive see it already so i dont have much of a problem at this point but i can understand Evi\'s pseudo frustration.
-
What\'s so surprising if someone saw this a long time ago?
-
Saw it, finally. Tis good.
-
saw it in the movies and got the dvd after cuz I liked it that much :D
