Title: Creating ringtones and distributing them
Post by: MPTheory on May 06, 2005, 12:06:27 PM
Ive been working on my sister\'s site, http://www.dayrocks.com, and I need to find out if there is a way that I can take some chunks of her songs and turn them into ringtones.  They want to use it as a marketing ploy.  I wouldn\'t mind figuring out a way that I can do it.  Any ideas, directions?

Try going here: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=mp3+to+midi+converter&tg=dl-2001&search.x=16&search.y=13&search=+Go%21+

Or here: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=mp3+to+ringtone&tg=dl-20&search.x=0&search.y=0&search=+Go%21+

You can browse through those programs and see if any of them do a damn thing.

If that wasn\'t what you were looking for, then um...*runs away*

ok, I found a pretty simple program from one of the lists that lets you import songs and take a clip from it to create a ringtone, now I just need to figure out a way to allow people to download them to their phones...
