For those of you who still had doubts(like me).
Here are some screenies:
http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventure/residentevil4/screenindex.html
I\'m playing the game on a gamecube I borrowed from my brother and I\'m about halfway through(chapter 3-3).
It\'s pretty cool even for a survival-horror noob like myself.
Definitely "Game of the year" material.

Well its definately no GC version but idk. Id have to see it in motion. The least they could have done though was add more color if doing something with the lighting was impossible.
-
Someone on another board mentioned a teaser he saw of the ps2 version and it had scenes that aren\'t in the GC-version.
Maybe we\'ll get some extra\'s like an extra twist to the storyline or more playable modes.
-
lol @ at the graphics
-
Less sharp textures, more jaggies.
Pretty much sums up the difference between the 2 consoles right there. :)

meh it\'s a port..that\'s what happens when you port games over to another system...obviously the cube is a bit stronger in the graphics dept, but for ps2, this game doesn\'t look that bad...maybe they should work a little harder on making that brown theme a little bit darker...the colors and texures so far look washed out...but i\'ll still cop it when it drops later this year...

Game was amazing on GC, strongly suggest you guys get this if you didn\'t have a gamecube.

i hope it doesnt suffer from heavey frame rate loss

Really.
No need to lower your standards just to play a game on your favorite system. Play it on GC, and be happy you didn\'t settle for less.

I didn\'t find the game all that amazing, to begin with.

If not amazing.. very polished.
