Which type of food do you prefer?: Organic or inorganic?
-
It doesn\'t really matter. Organic is supposed to be better, but it still suffers from some of the processes that inorganic foods go through. I eat both, so I can\'t choose anything.
-
I like the taste of nuts and bolts which i buy would wood chips.
-
which i buy would wood chips.
That\'s interesting.
-
Allowing genetically altered food is something i personally do not agree with.
Even scientists are not God nor nature itself. Sponsored by companies and the governments they\'ll claim it safe for the ppl to eat.
I think nobody really knows the longterm effects.
So I only choose organic food. It\'s probable though that i ate some of that bio-engineered food already without consciously knowing it becuz the supermarkets sneaked it in i didn\'t read every single little letter on the package...
-
Organic for me too. I started eating extremely healthy this year and it\'s paying off. Better skin, more energy, healthier mind...
And a big part of this all started when i watched "Supersize Me." ;)
-
Given the choice, I usually choose organic, all thing being almost equal. There is a health food store near me, so it\'s actually more convenient than the big evil supermarket chain. However, sometimes organic vegetables are absurdly expensive. I remember recently turning down an opportunity to buy a small box of blueberries for $8.50. The non-organic ones cost half that at the big evil.
-
I just realized there are two type of food, organic and one that aren\'t organic recently. I remember reading them back when i was a junior in high school in biology class but i thought nothing of it.

that\'s what my brother bought a few days back. Several small boxes of blueberries for like $2.50 each...
According to what you said, those blueberries my brother bought might be inorganic.
yesterday, my mom bought two half gallon soymilk that are organic and it cost $3.19 each.

I just cant stand going to Whole Foods Market or Farmer Johns or any of those overpriced bourgeoi yuppie stores. I shop at Jewel(s) or Dominics. Whatever you find there basically covers it.
Whatever organics my dad gets from whole foods, usually tastes like shit.
-
Yes.. organic all the way. I actually live off twigs and berries. The only complaint I have is when I have to pop a squat.
-
But eh... you guys realize what genetically altered food really is ?
They altered, for example, those vegetable plants at the genetic molecular level for more mass growth of them, maybe some more color etc.
it\'s toying around with the founding stones of nature. Nobody can be 100% sure what kind of effect that has on a life time generation of the human body. Knowing mankind, these effects are usually bad. Of course, the companies will say otherwise and maybe the effects will pop up when the generation of \'our children\' are adult.
Also, you wouldn\'t wanna know what cattle gets to eat  ..... and that same cattle ends up on our plate. "The effects are not to worry about. Totally neglegible !" the companies say after they cashed in big money again.......

I prefer orgasmic.
-
Orgasmic is better.
-
If its good, I eat it, organic or inorganic. It doesn\'t matter to me.

How much wood would a wood chip buy if a wood chip would buy wood?

 Shut up, Ash.

Boneheads: The opposite of organic is not "inorganic." Inorganic food would be something like plastic table fruit, which would not be edible.
-
Plastic table fruit tastes like ass. And thanks for pointing that out. I knew it didn\'t look right when reading it.
-
hmmm, i thought inorganic is the opposite of organic. Or am i wrong?
-
It is the opposite, but not in the way you meant for this thread. Inorganic means it has no organic life whatsoever...dead...zippo...nothing, which brings as back to the plastic table fruit comment.
-
nothing better than a nice plate of strawberry shortcake with Malathion topping. Yummy.
-
*pukes* o_O I hate insecticides...I always wash the crap out of vegetables or whatever before I eat them. It\'s better not to eat the skin, even though that\'s where a lot of good fiber comes from. But the skin absorbs a lot of that nasty shiz.

It depends on the word you\'re modifying. The opposite of organic solvents would inorganic solvents.
The opposite of organic food is not inorganic food. There is no such thing as inorganic food because if such a thing existed, it would not be digestible and therefore not food.

You should have said "Which do you prefer? Foods grown by organic or traditional farming methods?" ... or something like that.
-
i like to put my organic organ in a female organic reproducitive organ...but mario, as seen in swifs avy, like\'s to put his organ in inorganic women....she\'s dead or looks dead at least ;)
-
She\'s still organic...
-
