Just six months after I sent my ps2 away for a similar problem, I\'m now once again getting a buzzing sound when I put a disc in! Is there anything I can do besides sending it away again?

vacuum the vent. A bug maybe stuck on the fan...that could be why you hear a buzz.

I really don\'t think the buzz is a bug buzz.

is it all discs or just certain ones. Blue back discs almost make my PS2 vibrate off the shelf. DVDs play fine ?

I don\'t see why anyone posted after Chizz. Seems like a waste of bandwidth since the problem is solved.
If the freezer doesn\'t fix it, then it\'s probably gophers.

I would have thought that the freezer would solve the golpher problem, too..

I really would recommend the freezer as well.

Just don\'t accidentally freeze off some valued body parts.

That\'s what the gophers want you to think.
