jumping on the bandwagon, but I know many of you are good with puters and the design programs. my boss wants me to redo the company site. looking for input beore I show him my latest mock-up

Any advice, good or bad, would be helpful. On some PCs the drop-down menus work slow in IE, while on others IE has no problem. Go figure. :p If they work funky for you in IE pelase let me know.

site is fugged up in explorer for the mac. Lucky for you, nobody uses explorer for the mac.

looks great in safari, you have some table problems though. I checked it in on my mac. I would suggest cutting all the content and pasting it into one single cell table.

The site is actually all done in css with zero tables and zero absolute positioning. I was hoping to avoid tables if at all possible.
Can you elaborate on the positioning problems?

It\'s looking pretty good, but I\'m kinda getting the feeling that the site is being squeezed. For instance the bottom with the copyright thingy and the main nav bar look vertically squeezed, give\'em a few more pixels in hight.
And the side bar, solutions, references etc with the cell rollovers might look good if it was a light grey instead of white, it helps brake the site up for the eye to focus on the content.

although Im a big fan of using CSS, I would not recommend making an entire site using nothing else. All browsers just arent ready for it yet. Your site is going to look different to a lot of people. Be sure to get as many people as possible to check it out for you. CSS is definately the way of the future when it comes to webdesign though.
