Me neither.

Semi-cute blond haired All-American Chick goes missing after climding into a car full of horny strangers and suddenly it\'s a freakin\' national tragedy. I\'m sorry for the parents. It\'s gotta be tough. But for an honor student, she\'s pretty naive. But I\'m kinda jaded now by the usual check lists of missing persons.

Blond? check.
Attractive? check.
Female? check.
American? check.
White? check. check check.

If this was a male, fat, average student - believe me, this would not make the news AT ALL. .

That\'s the thing about the American media that I despise. If its an average Joe, no one gives a shit. A good looking girl goes missing, its an international search. People go missing all the time but it seems only the good looking ones get coverage.

The same thing happens with kids. You only see cute, adorable kids on the news that have gone missing. They never put up pictures of the weird looking ones (most of the time, at least). Kids are kids and I think it\'s sad that they do this. :/

I am sad about this and its truly a shame that it happened, but once again, it comes back to being intelligent and expressing some street smarts in a foreign country. First off, especially when drinking, friends should be accountable for one another. Fuck, in a foreign country, no matter what nobody should separate. And the fact that she left with 3 natives is pure stupidity, and probably was a choice she made because of the alcohol. I\'m sorry this happened, but hopefully its a lesson ignorant American teenagers can put in their backpocket when they\'re traveling abroad.
