Wake me up when they actually show some gameplay footage.

Are you on drugs? They were showing gameplay footage. :stick: And the character models look like they came from Xbox. Lay off the reefer. The game is also 15% done and running on Alpha kits. They threw some FMV in there, but 90% of that video is gameplay. Once again...:stick:

I like that level in the city where you can actually get hit by cars. That\'s environmental interaction for you! Also, I couldn\'t help but notice the long hair animations are a bit dodgy - they actually go through the bodies! But if Lineage2 couldn\'t fix this problem, why should Temco\'s Team Ninja?
And .... the boobies are less bouncy...
:(

Yeah, there\'s nothing next-gen about the hair physics. Kind of sad really, but this is running on Alpha kits, so who knows what\'s to come?

Maybe they\'ll give us the option again to change the amount of bounciness the boobies have. Or you can throw a beer party and get a lot of drunk girls to jump on a giant trampoline.

until I see an interface (health, and whatnot), I refuse to believe it\'s even gameplay.

I see what you\'re saying now. You mean like...literally "in-game" footage.

Plus, some of it was obviously from cut-scenes. I really don\'t know what is "gameplay", and it all looks lackluster....sorry to rain on everyone\'s parade (clips). I am aware of it being developed on an alpha kit at 15% completion, hence the reason I said wake me up when they present something, well...presentable.
And how dare you accuse me of smoking the reefer! :p

blah phil, what a snob. back in my day, clips like that would\'ve been praised like a budah.

you\'re not raining on my parade phil..:p i know everybody\'s entitled to their own opinion...i also know that some of those clips are cutscenes, but alot of them look like cutscenes using the ingame engine. i just thought some it looked impressive like how avatarr stated that you can get hit by cars in the road and such...personally i\'m more of a tekken fan....

One thing that ive always kinda admired about DOA is the level interaction. This time it looks even better (Jan lee dragging that kid down the stairs was hilarious). Besides that however not much has changed. Theres something about the hits that dont seem that stunning. Maybe its the sound, maybe its the animation, i dont know.
If this is supposed to be for XBOX360 then thats kinda eh. It definately looks fairly possible on xbox.

Well, imho Japanese devs seem to lag behind a bit concerning next gen development. So far i haven\'t seen anything from them that\'s ultra impressive.
