Okey, I have used firefox since I started out with Linux(firefox is compatible with Linux, Win and Mac OS). But is just recently I have been able to explore and se some of the really cool features that you can use in the browser. I took some screen shots to explain better.
The first picture is my startup screen and here we can see some of the features.
Lets start with the lower right corner.
In green (U can use any color) the current I.P number of the page I am browsing, A meaningless but still cool feature. You can have a flag insted showing the country. To the left were it says Elevated is the terrorist level for the USA. It have not yet changed, still yellow. There is 2 higher and 2 lower levels.
To the left we have the controllers for almost every MP3 player you kan think of. This is a very good feature since it is integrated in the browser and doesnt take upp any desktop space.
If we now move to the upper right corner we have the black circle a link to firefox homepage. A google bar we have also. The blue star shows the most recent 50 pages I have visited.

The second image shows another very cool feature. When I write in the search bar, google suggests words and show the number of hits a current search has. Really cool!!

The 3rd picture shows the results from the search and yet another cool feature, you see a preview of the pages, that is awsome IMO. Makes it very easy to find what you are looking for.

This one shows the weather feature. As you can see the weather aint super here in Sweden. Just take the mouse over to get the temperature and more, There is for several days, from 1 to 9. I find 4 good enough.

This one shows TXB and the meny for choosing media player.
Notice that when I open a new link there is different tabs so I can switch between different pages easy.

This one illustrates the ftp client and how it works. I like it a lot, very easy and it has many nice features.

This one shows some pictures downloaded from the previously visited site and there is a pictureviewer so I can tell the program to slideshowthe for me. NICE!! Notice the little link preview picture. When I take the mouse over a link it shows a preview of the link. Also cool IMO.

The last one shows what kind of plugins I have used and the settings meny for the linkpreview feature. I have 17 extensions and a skin. There is thousands of extensions out there for this browser. You can always find something for you.
I have to say that if you have not tried it out yet, you should. You wont regret it! It is fast, it is good looking and it is open source, this thing is evolving fast!!!!

Its for free and it ROCKS IMO. Hope you all try it out. Any questions or suggestions for great extensions please post here. Over and out!!

HELLO BOSSIEMAN! CAN YOU GIVE US AN UPDATE ON THAT GRAVITY THEORY OF YOURS? :D
-
Welcome to last year, jackass.
-
That\'s cool... my Firefox doesn\'t do all that though, perhaps I should upgrade it (or is that Linux only features?). :)
-
I see boobies!
WHEEEEE!!!!!
also, that shit is just spitting out jibberish.... SOme of thoses letters don\'t even exist!
-
I like Firefox, but it can be buggy with PDFs and displaying embedded WMV video (go figure).
Nice features anyway bossieman, if no one used IE it would make web designers life MUCH easier.
-
I\'ve been using Firefox since before language was invented
:D

firefox is cool but not the support or the backbone IE has. The expolit writers dont give a damn about it yet thats why it\'s soooo safe. Soon the will and it will die like the rest.

LIES! There\'s 31 now. I bought a Mac. I\'ll buy another soon. So it\'ll be 32 Macs.
And I am not a sad man. I\'m happy and gay. But not in any homosexual way.

Funny. I just downloaded Firefox. No where near the features Bossie has but I haven\'t a) fully explored Firefox or b) have a damn clue what I\'m doing. I also am using 98SE and my computer is gonna crap out on me any day now, lol. I love the tab browsing though. It makes my life so easy :)

negatory
The reason there are so many exploits with IE is because it\'s embedded into the Windows kernel. ActiveX owns MS. They know this which is why they are making their next browser totally separate from the OS next time around. Honestly, it\'s silly you\'d use a web browser as the primary interface to update your operating system.
IE is the most popular because it comes with Windows. This certainly does not make it the best browser available. With tabbed browser, perfect CSS support, full PNG support, unlimited extensions, and no dangerous exploits, Firefox will be around for a little while longer. ;)

1. Go into Tools then Themes and when the little window opens up click Get more Themes. Then just klick install now when you find a nice skin.
2. Go into Tools then cklick Extensions and when thelittle window opens up just klick get more and have fun!!

Its coming man, still working on it.

No the extensions works independent of OS (almost all of them)
-
I just moved over recently myself (from Opera)..
Got tired of Opera\'s constant crashing. I\'m a little annoyed with Firefox\'s limited tabbed browsing, I prefer when the browser remembers the tabs. I got an extension for it but it’s still not as good as Opera.
Might go back to Opera again after they have patched it a few times.
-
Opera isn\'t great. I\'d almost prefer IE over it. It\'s not as stable as Firefox (Firefox has only been buggy when I installed 400 extensions...when it only has a few, then everything is fine).
Firefox still has room for LOTS of improvement. I hope the next update actually has something significant.

I remember when Netscape was the shiznit.

*caresses IE window*

Yeah, I use IE.
I just done care enough to switch.
It opens... I look at stuff... I close it.
Works for me.

IE blows. Too many weird stupid ass things happen to my computer when I use IE. I use it when there\'s pages that can only be viewed in IE. There\'s an extension for Firefox that adds an item to the contextual menu that says "open page in IE". ;) It helps.
-
I use safari and firefox on my mac. and I use firefox on my PCs
-
Safari is so fast that it makes me forget about Firefox\'s extra features (or should I say, not care about the features because Safari is so fast?).
-
Okey, for you all that have firefox, get a load of this: The browser is known to be fast but you can get it even faster!! Check out this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=327) . Well It really makes a difference. Use Power and U will really be impressed. But first find a page that you normaly visit and check out how long time it takes to fully load everything. Then use that extension and tell if you noticed any difference. The best extension by far!!
-
I\'ve had that extension since it came out. I have the pipeline requests set at 66, which helps significantly when loading thumbnail pages.
-
At least put it in the right forum.
I would think someone who can figure out quantum physics could read and know there is a PC forum.

Firefox is a very good browser. I use it and recomend it to all pc users.

It will be great once they fix the video embedding errors and the inability to load the HTML code "
