I think it looks stupid. Just because its a classic doesnt mean its a good movie.

The Classic B&W was better than the 1978 version by leagues.

It\'s still one of my favorite movies. You guys should rent it. It\'s worth checking out.

IMO Jack Blacks best movie is "High Fidelity"

anyways, that trailer was very entertaining in itself.

Jack Black has one style of acting. It is that over the top \'trying to be funny\' style and it doesn\'t work.. I can enjoy almost any movie, then he comes into it and ruins it. Same with his stupid band.  As much as I dig the original \'King Kong\', Peter Jackson and the rest of the cast, I won\'t even bother tuning in as long as fat boy is in it.

It\'s got giant monsters in it. Therefore, it\'s cool.

Jack Black will fit the role of the boisterous director perfectly...coz...well...he is loud. I know some of you were pining for Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise or me....but us good looking guys would take too much attention away from King Kong\'s girlfriend.

That scene with Kong out-roaring the T-rex is badass.

The effects look a bit unrealistic and out of place though... especially in that rampage sequence with the horde of dinosaurs.
