She just graduated Boot Camp when I was preparing to go in. She ran with us told us what to expect when we got down there. I didn\'t even know she was over there.

Sorry to hear that man.  I found out today that 2 Marines from our shop were wounded and had to be flown back here when a suicide bomber ran into the 7-ton they were in.  I dunno if it was the same convoy as the one Valdez was in.  

Very unfortunate how this kind of news rolls into our battalion every week.

I really feel sorry for her husband. He\'s still over there. If it were me I wouldn\'t be able to concentrate on anything.

Sorry to hear that man. By reading the article, she sounded truely remarkable.

That sucks.  I agree, she did a lot of remarkable things.
