Title: Just bought me a new guitar!!!

yep, an ESP Eclipse, Les Paul shape EMG81 actice pickup at the bridge and EMG60 at the neck and whatnot.

I was originally going for the ESP Horizon but I played this one and just fell in love.

looking good, a Fender Strat with an humbucker didn\'t know Fender made those.

My other looks very much like your Fender, a Yamaha strat copy cheap but I love it and is now getting ready to be tuned down to open C

Yeah, "Fat Strat" is what they call it.


not bonkers about it or anything. Someday I\'m gonna get a SG. This is just holding me over untill then.

Besides, I\'m just a drummer who thinks he can play guitar.

nice looking axe, (the link wouldn\'t work for me earlier...) ESP makes some nice stuff. I\'m a snob for the classics myself. I was gonna get a gison firebird, but I probably would never play it. I still am in love with my les paul...:D

very nice.

I only have a warlock bass so im not all insane about it. But i opted to save for a new cab/amp and got:

its a little different. Couldnt find my actual cab. mines 600 watts, and i have a 700 watt peavey amp (so i cant turn it all the way to 10,heh).

That seems like a lot but a rule of thumb is to always get like twice as many watts as guitarists to be able to hear the bass.

If i ever had the money to get a guitar, my eye has been on this one (also from ESP):

Gotta love an older gibson.

I cant stand strats unless they are super expensive. In other words, good. :p

the way I play, my pinky turns down the volume knob on strats. I always had problems with bolt-on necks, too...
