Hey everyone,
After 2 days of making maps by hand on Timesplitters: FP, I can\'t stand it anymore. Is there any way I can hook my PS2 up to my PC (windows XP) so that it thinks its connected to a broadband internet, just so I can download the 70KB maps!!!!! Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

ICS
but it\'s a pain to setup

Get a router, save yourself the hassle.

Uhh.. if you get a cross over cable and connect it to the ethernet port on your PC, it might get fooled.

I only have dial-up...... All i really want to do is download little 70kb maps for Timesplitters, so I don\'t see why I can\'t do that on dial-up...
Thanks for your replies!

Oh and MM, how would you set it up with ICS?
-
wtf, who\'s MM?
you\'re going to need a NIC on your pc and put a cross over cable between the two, than share the connection.
ICS is buggy, and a pain in the ass to get working. google for more information

Do u have a Network adapter for your ps2?
then u need a NIC or Cat5 port on your mobo.. Then theres the whole fun of setting up ICS, which as mm said, google for answers on that one.

I got a NIC on my computer, and have the good ol\' PStwo, so the broadband adapter is a check. Now all I have to do is find the freaking crossover cable that I had from 5 years ago. Thanks for your replies!

You can wire one yourself too. Lots of diagrams on the net. Just google it.
