Post by: Bossieman on July 20, 2005, 10:06:56 AM
Found out about this a couple of month ago.
Some kind of bug makes windows crash. Dont know if SP2 has fixed this. Havent had the chance to test it yet.

Warning: Dont know if it works, Please kill all important work curently on your computer if you have Windows.

I know opera are supposed to be immune. So Firefox works fine 2. Nice. Maybe the bug is actually in Internet Explorer.

Yes, the dimensions are what struck me the most. However, it ran perfectly fine in Firefox.

Har har...this is so funny:

The only error I had was an image that loaded saying I had an error. Oh no!!!!

That is actually true but this has to do with Windows XP. The big doesnt work on older versions of Windows.

Make your mind up.
Is it a browser problem or Windows?
If Opera and Firefox are immune to it, it would seem like an IE problem to me.

I will make up my mind.
I say that if you have Opera you are safe. If you have IE or FF you are not safe.If you are running win 95, 98, ME and IE or FF you are safe.
If you have NT you are not safe. So it is acombination of OS and browser, ok

First link Firefox doesn\'t crash.

Second link...it starts to crash, but then shows a black screen on the webpage and then decides to crash.

Internet Explorer...crashed instantly on both.

My Apple PC...didn\'t crash on either link.

I need a faster Windows PC. :/
