I think I would officially give up playing video games if I got beat by a blind person.

I could beat him. Just turn off the volume.

Cool story :)

Um...ok? How the hell is he going to study video game design like the article states?
And he should try playing someone that doesn\'t suck. Maybe he\'ll have a challenge then.
It\'s cool that he figured out a way to play the game though.

Definitely an achievement. But what a waste of talent... imagine how he could have turned out if he had focused all that dedication to something more productive. To a violin maybe.
I hate how the media depicts Soul Calibur as something ultra-violent.
While playing "Soul Caliber 2," Mellen worked his way through the introductory screens with ease, knowing exactly what to click to start the game he wanted.
.....
"That\'s what happens. It\'s why I don\'t play him," O\'Banion said after his blood-spattered character\'s corpse vanishes from the screen.

I\'d give him my controller and let him play for me, he\'d never know the difference. Any fighting games, he\'d just be kicking the shit out of himself.

you people... :p
Interesting story btw.

Actually, after finally being arsed to read the article, I\'m going to take back my smart-alec, sarcastic comment about him.
*Cerberus duffs his cap at the kid*
Good on yer, kid. It might not get you anywhere in life, but it\'s an achievement, no matter how small or insignificant it is.
Anyone got one of those braile-o-mat printers? Could they run this post through it and email it to him?
:D
Only joking, I do have some admiration for the kid.
Show him some respect, you faggotty-homos
edit//
just realised how fucking dumb that was for me to say. how can you print braile out, then email it to him?
Post it to him instead.

Somewhere I read about a blind kid who could beat Mike Tyson in Punch-Out!! using aural cues.
In a fist fight, he would kick this kid\'s poser ass.

Give him the VCR remote and see how far he gets ehh.
But him playing without sound is like you playing without vision..

But him playing without sound is like you playing without vision..
But for him it\'d be like playing without sound and vision. ;)
-
I have to hand it to him, it takes lots of work to overcome a disability like that. It has taken me a year and a half to learn how to do some things over or reteach myself using one hand.Think im kidding try it we take so much for granted.

eh, he\'s learnt how to play certain games without needing vision, hence why i said it would be like us playing without vision. We can play without sound, we need vision. he can play without vision, he needs sound.. u catching on yet.

I know what you meant. I was kidding. Overanalyzing is the work of the devil.
