Since I am bored. I like to make a poll on which 3 of the consoles are you looking forward to the most?
XBOX360, PS3, or Revolution?
-
PS3.
-
None, all hype and Propaganda as of now. Until there is more information released as of now I have very little idea what each console will truly bring forth to the table.
I would bet my money that the PS3 wins the poll here, Duh!
-
I dont have the money to buy all.So I ll buy the most succesful one
-
I\'ll buy al of them.
-
I voted PS3.. but the 360 has caught my eye
-
All of them. Why isn\'t that an option?
-
the poll was predictable, after all this being a PS forum.
-
So you ll have to register 2 more times you silly
-
Will wait to see more games. None really interest me to the point of dropping $400 right now.
-

Well first off I never voted yet, second If I register I might as well do it 14 times to win the poll\'s. hehehehehe......
-
that was directed to Evi actually :p
But hey, what a great Idea
-
If I registered again, the option for selecting all of them still wouldn\'t be there. And registering 2 more times just to select the other 2 consoles is a bit retarded.
-
Oh no you just called NVIDIA256 a possible retard
:p
j/k
-
at this point no console but because I gave away my ps2 and xbox I will buy a 360. But I am not all that excited about gaming.
And so far all soNy has done is hype up the features of the ps3.
If all my console played was cd\'s and dvd\'s I would be fine with that.
-
Yeah, I\'m not too buzzed about any of them, especially since I have to pay for Revolution\'s catalog of old software, and because that software might be visually upgraded. I don\'t like when they do that...
But Revolution still excites me the most. I\'m anxious to see Nintendo online.

None, so far.
-
Just the one with the must have game i think is the must have game for me.
-
I already know the PS3 will be great and I\'m looking forward to that fine,
But at the moment I\'m looking forward to what the Revolution might do/be
If they have a REAL Mario game that goes back to Mushroom land or whatever it is and not a tropical island I will be happy
-
i might end up getting a psp instead of any console for a while
-
I wonder if Nintendo manages to interest people more with their "Revolutionary" idea.Despite that (unlike Sony and MS) they arent relying on power they seem very optimistic thanks to their "innovative" idea.Makes me curious to see what they are hiding under their sleeve
-
None, i don\'t get "excited" over consoles or pc hardware. I\'ll just get whatever i feel is worth getting at the time. So about 1 year after the new consoles release. I\'ll decide on what to get. I\'ll be updating my pc often still though.
-
PS3 !
-
I see no point in gettnig excited yet. We haven\'t seen launch titles. Any excitement is pure speculation and hope.
-
Probably none of them as I am not that excited. I\'ll probably save up my money for a better pc. But if I do get one it will probably be Revolution.
-
i didn\'t asked what console excites you the most. i asked which one are you looking forward to the most. There is a difference between the two I believe....:D
-
I\'m looking forward to seeing what nintendo will do this generation, PS3 and Xbox360 have pretty much revealed their goods already, nintendo still has something up it\'s sleeves......I hope.
-
I like that I\'ll be able to download any and all games from Nintendo\'s past. The Revolution gets a thumbs up from me in that regard, but I\'m not entirely sold on it yet. What\'s next generation about it? What makes it a "revolution"?
Sony has shown they have more usb ports than you\'ll ever need. WTH? Where\'s the online service? Where are the cool demonstrations of what PSP and PS3 can do together? They haven\'t shown me anything that gets me remotely excited about next-gen.
Microsoft has nearly sold me a Xbox 360. I love that there is a free Xbox live service now, I\'m anxiously awaiting more information on that. The Xbox Marketplace (the whole customization aspect of everything) sounds good, but I\'m waiting to see exactly how it all works out. I\'d buy Project Gotham Racing 3 just to customize cars, buildings, billboards - the whole city from what I understand - and drive around in it. I like the sound of it all, but, as I said, I need to see how it all works for myself before I\'m sold.

WTF! YOUR AVVY RULez!!!!!!!!ONE

Careful. It\'ll only be Nintendo published titles and whatever software various other companies agree to make available.
It also won\'t be a free service.
Some of the games may be given graphical overhauls (a negative, in my opinion).
This is what we know so far.
If there is indeed any kind of subtance to the Revolution namesake, expect it to come from the controller which will be able to play games from NES on up, and possibly include some new gimmick. It may also come from some quirky new ideas for games which may surface in the first releases from Nintendo..

I\'m looking forward to the point in time where I\'ll have the best computer with the highest performance gaming possibilities at the time.
I\'M GOING TO ENJOY THOSE 6 SECONDS.
-
Rikku u have the best avatarr ever btw
-
I had my first day of the internship today at the gamedev studio and I have seen & touched next gen hardware and devkit.
It was slightly exciting but not THAT exciting.

It\'s mostly Nintendo properties that I\'m interested in, as well as some Square games.

I assumed that from the get go. After all, they are charging $20 for old Nintendo games re-released on the GBA.

If it\'s something like the facelift that Mario-Allstars gave the old Mario games then I\'m all for it.
-
That\'s the game that made me dislike graphical overhauls. Part of the change was the size of Mario and it actually removed a secret you could do in Super Mario Bros. 3.
You used to be able to drop off a platform into the water on one level and sink left and pick up enough speed to pass a current and get to a secret room as small Mario, instead of relying on the frog suit.
In the "upgrade" Mario was bigger and the trick didn\'t work.
Off memory, they might have lost the minus world in Mario Bros. 1, as well.
Also, if I go old school, I want the full, retro experience. But that\'s just my preference...

hah awesome, can you tell us what game or games are planned from your company or is it secret?
-
Well I\'m on NDA, but part of the team here is busy for a huge next gen game which is already made public.
-
Saints Row?
-
They did that one already.
No, I\'m talking big name next gen stuff.
