The game is clearly nearing completion, though. Outside of the demo area, Square Enix unveiled a new trailer, showcasing the close relationship between Ashe and Vaan, some massive air battles, and what appears to be a city floating in the sky (we even caught a glimpse of what appears to be a dance number involving Ashe). The potential for a dramatic storyline is high with this one! Square Enix also announced the Japanese release date for the game, 3/16/2006, and gave a sneak peak at the game\'s theme song.

Good. The series needs some fresh gameplay features. Its been so many years and so far the gameplay hasnt changed much.I hope it has few changes that will make the experience more advanced.Although I enjoyied FFX I was somewhat dissapointed that it playied almost identically as the previous games.

well, like the saying said, "if its ain\'t broke. Don\'t fix it.":D

Yeah I kind of agree but repetition creates boredom. :p
Some spice sometimes is needed here and there to make life interesting :nerd:

but I thought FFX is quite different than other FF like FFVII or FFVIII.
I thought Square did an awesome with the new ideas such as they get rid of the time battle mode. You know that bar thing where you have to wait till it fill up for your turn and stuff. So are Sphere Grid, a new and different idea of leveling up. in FFX, you can summon the beast and can control it...not to mention, most of the areas are 3-D instead of the 2-D prerendered background.
I thought Square did a fantastic with different ideas on FFX compare to the previous FF series.
The only things that i thought wasn\'t that great was the storyline and the character designs. the characters desgin are a bit too much. I don\'t like tidus\'s mop hair, it was originally dark hair. But now they change it to sandy blond hair. Most of the characters outfits look a little weird to me. Also, the sidequests are good, but not as great as FFVII siquests. Not to mention getting ultimate weapons were hard as hell in FFX which i thought its too hard for some characters.
But overall, the gameplay is great. Maybe Square doesn\'t have the time to make it brilliant like FFVII, but its actually a very good leap that square does though.
FFXII looks like is going to be similiar to FF Tactics which is another one of my favorite games. I am looking forward to it actually.

Pffft...it was easy. You just suck.
;)

actually, what i meant to say is you know getting the crests and something else. Some of them were hard. Like Lulu\'s crest if my memory serve me right, we have to dodge 100 lighting without getting hit. That was hard. I don\'t think I did that successfully before.
Tidus was to get the time down to 0 in the chocobo race. Took me quite some times and i finally did it for the first and probably my last time after i replay the game again.
On Kimarhi, I have to dodge butterflies and collect the right butterflies in a limited time. Is also a little hard but I actually did it successfully.
Not sure if there is more hard quests, can\'t really remember. Also, on Wakka, i wasn\'t into the dodgeball game (not sure of the name) but its one of those balls where you have to play underwater.

Man I fell in LOVE with blitzball. I thought it was superb
-
It was actually a fairly deep game once you grasped how to play... I loved it too
-
Blitzball was great.
Weird how if you had Brother on your team, he was so good that he was the only one who levelled up, so eventually he was great and the rest of your team sucked so the game became really difficult..
..at least that\'s what I think..

^Its easy to fix
Get up by 3 points and pass the ball to the rest of your team.
