I want to buy a nice camera and get into photography.

Give me an idea, Im sure their are plenty of camera fancypants here.

Canon.  Just buy it.  It\'s not expensive and it will teach you a ton.

Analog or digital? Either way get a SLR. For analog I have no idea, probably a Canon EOS something or a Nikon.

For digital, a great though-not-too-damn-expensive SLR is Canon\'s 350d (Digital Rebel in your part of the world). Or Nikon D50/D70 if you\'re so inclined.
