If this is real time running on next gen hardware at 60fps then Killzone is feasable on both XBOX360 and PS3!

This is tricky. The official wardevil website (http://www.wardevil.com) states about both their ingame engine RTE1080 and high end cg footage.
I wonder how much cg fx they\'ll be able to run in the final code....
Btw, it\'s kinda silly to see such advanced mechanical creatures yet their behaviour strikes a shocking resemblance to primitive aggressive apes
Still, it looks interesting. Of course, it\'ll all come down to gameplay.

So basically that could be CGI and not real time?
I searched a bit on the site you posted.
They stated that "the RTE1080 is designed to work in HD (1920x1080) and create a visual style that surpasses the look & feel of conventional \'Pre-Rendered\' FMV sequences.
The goal of the RTE1080 is to achieve In-Game graphics that compare to the quality of Pre-Rendered sequences - creating a true Cinematic Games Playing experience."

Look... basically they\'re just saying tht their engine will \'feel\' like high end cgi.
Modern cgi\'s tricks to make stuff look realistic are for example :
- global illumination
- world raycasting
- radiosity & caustics
- area shadows (casted shadows soften over distance depending on lightsource, light angle etc.)
Basically these guys promise no concrete integration of such high end fx in the game engine nor do they provide solid
proof. They just state that the final game will use tricks which will make it feel as if it is high end cgi.
Eventually, I think the best devs will deliver on this premise, others will just be souped up current pc graphics with tacked on fx.

^Are you gonna dog every game developer now that you have a job with a competing one? ;)

They gave the impression that they had the engine up and running.Bleh
