I moved in today. I\'m already having a blast. I can\'t wait to see what else college has to offer.
-
besides an education?
-
Partying and girls are 2 other things college has to offer. Just don\'t let them interfere with your education and be a dumb ass and drop out like a lot of kids do their first year of college.
-
My academics will definitely come first. I just quit a shitty job and if I fail out of college, I will be working in a place like that for the rest of my life.
-
Glad to hear your studies will come first. So what are you majoring in, and what ya want to do when you grow up ?
-
So many of my friends failed out. Takes a lot of self control. That of which I had some. I did pretty damn bad in school, but man I had a blast.
-
None of my friends dropped out after the first year. meh
-
I\'ve come to realize I suck at school.
Classes I can handle, but full-time school just kicks my ass.

You\'re obviously not taking Ritalin because you don\'t even know how to f^cking spell it.

Man, my GPA sucked all the way through high school, but I starting getting better Senior year. Then I pulled my head out of my ass and I\'m getting straight A\'s in college now. I haven\'t had straight A\'s since 5th grade, lol. :)
-
Our baby boy is growin\' up. Maybe he\'ll finally get laid now.
-
Snowballs chance in hell
-
^^^^^
What if hell freezes over?
-
Iceballs don\'t count.
Blue balls, however...
And um, I always got good grades. I\'m smart or something.

Heh... I watched my bro change from an architectural major to a smoking pot and playing pool / bowling major in less than a year.
-
Pot will do that too.
-
Man your liver is in for a beating.

Actually, architectural majors will do that to you. Its hell, I would know.
-
hah my manager at Dominos used to be an architectural major but he dropped out and now makes $75k/year making pies.
He explained it to me like this: for every generation there\'s only ONE Frank Lloyd Wright. It\'s one of those positions where you invest tons of time and money in, and the payoff is very little in comparison.
-
I\'m going for my masters in Architectural Engineering, but I can see why it\'s not for everyone. I work for a really small firm (only 7 of us including 2 licensed Architects) and my bosses make an ass load of money. My dream is to start my own firm, a buddy of mine owns a contracting business and we\'ve always talked about going into the "i\'ll design it, you build it" arrangement in the future.
I\'ll just enjoy all the free lunches in nice restaurants and the traveling to the build sites in the meantime.
-
Good luck with that. If you\'re talented and your work stands out you should have a decent amount of jobs lined up for you.

You\'re right. I\'m taking concerta, which lasts longer. I thought I would just call it ritalin so faggots like you would understand. Like I would lie to impress you.

I was just kidding, bro. You\'ve made worse comments...I wouldn\'t have thought you\'d be offended by that. But whatever.
-
Hooray for Evis getting bitched again
-
It\'s happening a lot lately. :(
-
Rightfully so.
-
homework can be dangerous
-
Um...need a band-aid?

That\'s about what I ended up with.
You know how many people have asked me my GPA since I graduated? I could count the number of times with my dick, if I were a chick.
-
It started to dry up when I was looking for the camera. when I reached into my backpack my pencil stabbed my above my nail and it just started dripping blood
-
fakest blood ive ever seen
-
The blood is not dark enough and there\'s too much of it for that kind of a wound.
-
You guys are such faggots... who cares if its real blood or not. "OMFG BULLSHIT!11 LIAR!! WTF?!"
Bitch ass sluts.
-
Jesus christ it stabbed my cuticle and it went under my skin so i grabbed my finger and it just started dripping.
I honestly dont give a fuck, its not like a battle wound I just thought it would be funny that I could lose blood from homework
-
I lose my mind over homework. Does that count?
-
I know people that have lost fingers doing homework, your point?
-
-
tablesaw+people that don\'t know what they are doing= bloody stump

College is easy. I am an RA (free room and board) and holding a 3.78 GPA average using the .5 scale.

Square, we all know this is true because you go to a State school.
-
So far to me as long as you read your textbook daily, you\'ll be a 4.0 student. But Ive only been to class once :shy:
-
Depends on your major, I don\'t have a single textbook.
-
I stopped buying textbooks jr year. I wasted too much money on expensive books that got no use. If later in the semester I really needed it I\'d either AIM a classmate to death or go to Half.com.
Besides, It\'s the 21st century, we should have the damn things in electronic form now. Carrying around a laptop full of "books" is much more sensible than hauling around a backpack with 5 600-page, forest-destroying, papercut-inducing, man-eating, fire-breathing, cookie-baking gonorrhea monsters.
-
That\'s exactly what my teachers are doing. Because of university policy, they still have to perscribe a textbook but most of our course material is digital, we don\'t even touch the textbooks at all. Especially for maths: the maths department made their own notes! Which is good, cuz Calculus and Linear Algebra books start from AU$100 upwards.
-
oh and \'paper-cut inducing\' doesn\'t make any sense. should be \'paper-cut making\'.
-
lol THX and Avatarr...
Anyway, Avatarr, you live in Australia?
-
He is Lord of the Wallabees and \'roos.

Why do teachers have to prescribe a book? Think there\'s some sort of sham going on?
-
My phsycology book alone was 75 bucks used and I bet I only get 20 bucks back when I turn it in.

haha you bet. in one of my subjects, the teacher actually perscribed his OWN book that he wrote. >_< but he doesn\'t belive in textbooks anyway, so it might\'ve been a joke thing. still, that\'s a purdy convenient JOKE! :p
