I didn\'t give for the tsunami, but I did give this time. Anyone else?
-
Nope... The minute you start shooting at the people trying to help you. You\'ve lost me.
-
Well that does pretty much suck, but 99.9% of the people aren\'t like that.
-
I gave a shit.
JK
-
If you were kidding, you wouldn\'t have said it.
-
When I get paid again, I\'ll donate.
-
Nope. Never donated for a cause and won\'t start now.
-
I gave to the Red Cross during the Tsunami & I think during 9/11, but after seeing Kanye endorse them and spewing diarrhea from his mouth I don\'t think I will.
-
I saw a guy with a New Orleans shirt on today and I gave him a "hello". I felt better about myself instantly.
-
The minimum to donate on the internet is only 5 bucks.
-
Kyoko & I gave $100.... may do it again next week if she doesn\'t buy any more fucking shoes....
-
gave 100$ cause my work matched all donations
pathetic if you can\'t or won\'t give 5$. skip buying that pack of smokes or those couple bottles of pepsi for one day.
-
Money and time.
-
I am sure my wife will want to do something though as of yet she has not said anything
-
I could afford to give, but won\'t. I\'ve never given to a cause and don\'t plan on startin\' now. Go figure. Damn greedy American\'s.
-
you didn\'t even give to the 9-11 relief fund?
you\'re soulless

Sure it is - I mean, it\'ll help rebuild their houses, right?
;)
-
I gave 20 Euros for Tsunami and 20 again now... on top I have to pay the high gas prices !
-
You\'ve been paying high gas prices alot longer than just from a hurricane.
-
Yes I have given some money (Red Cross).

Yes... because you don\'t know how to act ecologically. The US is the most oil wasting country worldwide.
But it\'s not the fault of one person, but of your system of selfishness.
-
Ok, lets see Germany is smaller than how many of our States, grant you could drive to the top of your country and back and for a few times before we got across the states. We use it because we have the means to, we need oil, sorry.
-
That\'s BS and you know it !
-
oil wasting?
wtf?
maybe we can just invade france and take thier oil
-
France ? Why France ? Why not... hmm... the Iraq ?!
(I have to stop this, it\'s like running against windmills)
-
after france, we\'ll invade poland too, and attempt soviet russia
-
mm, I am very shocked to read your posts these days. I once thought you are a clever boy. But you don\'t even try a bit to understand me. You are biast, ignorant, arrogant and a bit racistic. Why can\'t you accept, that there is more than Bush and the US ? i don\'t "hate" america, nore do I hate china, afganistan or any other country. What I hate are things like the ones I\'ve posted here. But one can change - please try.
-
change?
you\'re not even part of the club
obviously you\'re not comfortable with your current national association (i dont blame you, i\'ve been there)
this is called "envy"
come on over, pal
only need to pass a test to join
-
US uses up the most oil because we also produce the most goods.
Is every thread you participate in going to turn into an America bashing fest? Go ahead and make a thread about David Hasselhoff and Michael Jackson and see what happens.
-

I LOL\'d at this. George Bush (Satan to you) stated, in regards to the hike in gas prices at the pump, if you don\'t like it, don\'t drive. That\'s life. Live with it. But when the Chinese government issues sanctions to ensure that their oil prices are ALWAYS constant in a nation that is quickly becoming the number 1 consumer of crude oil, I don\'t see your posts ripping them.
Alright, I\'ll be back later, going to drive up and down our freeways in a rented Hummer for no reason while eating heaps and gobs of greasy fast food and swallowing it all down with a high calorie drink before returning to my home, blasting the AC and heat to full to balance each other out, unbuckling my pants so my fat gut can hang out while watching 300 channels of crap on my 60" HDTV. I hope life is just as fun for you!

again, pray in one hand, and crap in the other, and see which one fills up first.
-
what if you\'re wishing for crap in your hand?
-
US uses up the most oil because we also produce the most goods.
That was like what? 10 years ago
China produces the most goods in the world now, our country is now being de-industrialized my friend. You can thank our politicians that have sold our best interests out for money/power.
-
You\'re discounting value. Compare Microsoft Windows, Prozac, or a similar product of a Dow Jones company of your choice to anything produced in China.
China GDP: $7.262 trillion
US GDP: $11.75 trillion
-
Nope. Never donated for a cause and won\'t start now.
Why?

EYE, we don\'t waste oil. We use just as much as any other country. Plus, what is great about this country is we have the freedom to buy whatever automobile we want. If someone wants an SUV, let them. Its thier money for gas. They know how much gas it uses and if they want one still, the power to them to get one. I drive a V8 T-bird and that gets about 17-18 mpg. I have to refill every 280 miles. I know what I was getting myself into and I decided to buy it anyway. But most of us are not just driving around the country just wasting gas. We are actually using it for something.
-
I gave a couple bucks at my school today. Would have given more but i have only big bills in my wallet.
-
I gave $50 through my company\'s disaster relief fund, and the company matches all donations. The money goes primarily to assist employees of my firm who worked in our New Orleans office. If there is any surplus, it will be given to the Red Cross or other such organizations.
We just received a voicemail message over the weekend indicating that all our employees have been accounted for.

No problem LIC :p I\'m just making the point that we have the freedom to choose what vehicle we want to drive despite the gas prices. The people know that an SUV gets shit milage and they need to deal with it. They don\'t drive any more than someone with a hybrid and that\'s my point.

Point is moot. Because, by that, an SUV is goin\' to go thru more gas. Has nothing to do with "freedom". It\'s more the American pissing-contest. Joe Blow has a big truck, so Fred Blow has to have a Hummer.
-
Just curious, if the Hummer was a hybrid that got 30mpg would you still have as much hate for it?
I think just the sheer size of it makes it a nuisance on the road. If you need to haul that much stuff get a real truck instead.
-
TiT: You are still going to school ? Having the money to drive a V8 ? Only spending 50$ for the disaster but must refill your car every 280 miles ? hmm... what\'s wrong here ?

I think the reason most people hate it, is because that it is now the standard for "bling-bling". Me, personally, I could care less. I never see them where I live.

Your point, being? If he can afford it, what does it matter? Would it make a difference if he was OUT of school and driving a V8? I know you must have a point, I just fail to see it.. Does he waste more gas in school somehow? What exactly IS your point?

And that\'d be called having the freedom to waste. You\'re using a needlessly more amount of gas to cover the same distance. I know it\'s your money, but a waste is a waste.
EDIT: Oh wait, LIC already pointed this out. My bad,
-
I donated two trash bags full of clothes. Hope the black kids like hollister and express :)

Stop trying to downplay him giving 50$.
