Whoa, the file size is 122 Mbytes. and the picture is stunning even though its not really a direct feed. its still point and shoot off the screen camera in a tripod or something.
The video runs at 1280 x 720....beautiful and the graphic is jaw droppingly beautiful.

Just as exciting as "Target renders".

Haha, even I don\'t care much for games, but I think this is pretty sweet (perhaps because MGS was one of the only games that ever captivated me enough to actually finish it).
-
Not saying it isn\'t sweet, but it doesn\'t represent what actual game play will look like, so its pointless.
-
i concur fully

MGS4 will feature a Splinter Cell - like camera (premiers in MGS3 Substinence). This means that all of the ingame world will be viewed upon freecam upclose, so Konami knows it has to look great upclose just like ingame Splinter Cell looks as good ingame as it does in the previews.
No more locked 3/4 overhead view in MGS4 which takes away all detail.

Means nothing, when you factor in the calucations, A.I and other CPU hogs. Will it be pretty? Yes. Will it look like that cinema? Doubtful. Much like Gran Tursimo 3 / 4 replays, it\'s a lot prettier when not being played.

You\'ve been really negative lately...I\'m starting to worry. :( You ok, buddy?
I can\'t even view the damn high quality trailer because my computer sucks [laugh at me].

Why compare it to how GT replay looks compared to GT ingame ?
No ! Then compare how MGS3 ingame looks compared to MGS3 ingame or Splinter Cell CT preview footage, to SC CT ingame.
Anyway, both games have always been very consistent in transition from cutscene/intro scene to ingame, as for what the eye perceives as visual eye candy. Sure With ANY game there will be graphical differences between ingame and cutscene, but both MGS and SC have always been known to be strong at keeping the visual quality for the player\'s perception, consistent.
MGS1 was one of the first games to impress with using it\'s ingame engine for the cutscenes.
I\'m kinda sick of ppl pretending like Kojima\'s games have not been consistent in this manner.
-
uhm.
They haven\'t.. Kojima always produces very beautiful games (Even if they are abit to much cinema), but they never look like the cinema\'s you see using the real time engine.

abit? That\'s a bit of an understatement, wouldn\'t you say?
The Metal Gear series has some of the worst storylines/storytelling in gameplay history.

So true. It\'s convulted garbage, but people eat it up, go figure.

Whenever close to the rise of a new console generation, the devided \'camps\' tend to be more polarized than ever.
It\'s hillarious yet awefully sad.
