Woohooo!!!  

How freaking funny is that?  Well not funny haha, but funny as in WTF???  THey pump all that water out way ahead of schedule and bammo, they are back up.  Read a story that the water was rising 3 inches a minute.  That\'s amazing.  I assume it didn\'t ruin anything that wasn\'t already ruined.

Let the city flood. Declare it a wasteland and move on!

Honestly tho\', why go back? This place has been flooded twice in less than a month and hurricane season isn\'t even over yet!  There is no way the levees will withstand a storm surge from Rita and all it takes is one more good one to once again, break the levees and reflood the city. Declare it a wasteland. There is nothing there now.

seriously..its supposed to be a lake..move the city north however many miles..
